Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
What if the sirens wailed mid-show & the lights cut out for good? We take a hard swing at a question most of us dodge: in a World War 3 or EMP scenario, what actually keeps you aliveāgear, grit, or your people? We start with the news and the nuclear what-ifs, then snap straight into practical survival logic you can act on today.
We compare three-item go-bags that force trade-offs: machete vs. gun when ammo becomes noise & liability; fast water filtration vs. boiling over scarce fuel; solar lights vs. batteries that die at the worst moment. We dig into medicine as the first scarce resource, the quiet power of a crank radio or basic Morse, and why discipline beats bravado when panic spreads. City survival gets a reality checkāfew calories to hunt, heat that punishes, & the need to move light, move smart, and avoid attention.
From rendezvous plans to group roles, we talk trust, contribution, & the kind of leadership that prevents chaos from eating your crew alive. We debate destinations you can defend, how movement becomes a strategy, and why morale tools like fire on demand matter as much as calories. Along the way, we test our ideas against pop culture touchstones, roast some bad apocalypse logic, & still land on one clear takeaway: tools help, but community and clear heads carry you further.

Welcome back to the conversation that never ends. This is Timeless Talk. I'm your host, AJ. Of course, over here to my right, I'm gonna do these intros. You know what I'm saying? Over here to my right, we got Furious. Alright, over here directly to my right, we got Julia.
SPEAKER_03:That's when my life works inserted.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, she chose, and y'all have you guys know. I wanted to throw her off on purpose because I wanted that reaction. This noise, in case you're wondering, uh Julia's new Jules' new uh intro uh sound is gonna be a car accident. But she's telling me that her life is a is a is a crash right now.
unknown:Think for a while.
SPEAKER_01:Alright, guys, so welcome back. Um again, we're happy to have you with us, Jules. Thank you for you know joining us in Timeless Talk and being here and being a part of our our history and our madness that we do it once a week. So yeah, you know, again, we're happy to have you here. Give you your flowers while you can smell them. We believe heavily in um in giving our giving our our hosts and our guests their flowers while they can smell them. We believe in that. But anyway, go ahead and take it away. Today is uh Julia's week to pick her very first topic as a as a as a host on our show. Go ahead and take it away, Julia. What are we talking about today?
SPEAKER_04:We're gonna be talking about whether we will survive war or I can't talk either. World war three. And what are the three things that we think that we'll need to survive? Yep. So that's our topic.
SPEAKER_01:Sounds good. All right, let's do it. So it's a very interesting topic, obviously. Those that have been following and watching the news and doing everything they do on social media, we all know what's going on in the world right now. We all know what's going on with different countries. Um for those of you that don't know, obviously the American is tied into allyship with one of these countries that might be going to war in Israel, right? Is it Israel and Fuck man, I feel like a terrible American. Who are we allies with? Do you know? Furious?
SPEAKER_04:We're allies with Israel. Israel is we're like one of their only allies.
SPEAKER_01:We're one of their only allies, right? So Israel.
SPEAKER_04:I believe so. I believe so. I'm look, don't quote us.
SPEAKER_01:No.
SPEAKER_04:We're just bullshitting here.
SPEAKER_01:No, we do some damn research, alright?
SPEAKER_04:Some?
SPEAKER_01:You know, we do a little research. I do know that we're allies to the Israelites. No, that is that is what it is. Israel is an ally. So therefore, if they get involved, we get involved, right?
SPEAKER_04:But I heard about the They ceased fire.
SPEAKER_01:The stealth, did they? Okay, good.
SPEAKER_04:Uh they agreed to cease fire.
SPEAKER_01:I did hear that we there was a stealth mission that took place. Did you hear about that, Furious, Julia? Did you guys hear about that?
SPEAKER_04:Like, yeah, Iran shot two of our uh uh planes down. I don't know which ones.
SPEAKER_01:Oh, they shot two of them down? I heard of that, I thought it was successful. We actually went in there and got a couple of nuclear missiles are out of their territory.
SPEAKER_04:There was a time where it was getting scary. Like we're like, oh crap, like because you know, Iran shot two of our pilots down. But I don't know what happened. I'm pretty sure the media is probably not fully, you know, because they don't want to scare us. Because if we get scared, it's gonna cause riots and pandemonium. Yeah, um um hectic stuff. So, but yes, they s they did cease fire. But you know, anything.
SPEAKER_01:Of course, but I wanna I wanna say I wanna say something to you guys too about this. If a World War III were to really happen, do you think it would be like how it was in Terminator 3? Did you ever see that movie you guys ever watched Terminator 3? Yes. Remember how all the nukes go off? You literally see them flying. I I see them, you see them crisscrossing. That's what would happen, right? If everybody starts shooting at each other, no one's gonna win then. It's gonna become fallout and and everybody's gonna be dead. And I don't think it would be. Whoever does survive, there's not gonna be much of a world left. You go you go, you leave above you know the level, you're gonna be fucking radiation poisoning.
SPEAKER_00:Personally, I don't I don't think it would be like simultaneous like that. Like it would there would have to be something like very significant to prompt that type of like response. Like like someone like Russia would have to have been bombed by us or something. You know what I'm saying? Like someone would have to have everybody just start shooting. See, cause because uh Terminator, it was the uh the uh AI that that launched everything.
SPEAKER_01:That is fair. That's true. That's that's the opposite. Yeah, you're right. That that that's what really happened, you're right. But but I think AI launched everything and killed everything. Well, no, yes. When I was only using the reference, I wasn't saying it was the same. I just you're talking about nuclear-wise, yeah. Nuclear-wise, it's similar.
SPEAKER_00:Like Fallout wise, I think, yeah, for sure. Uh it would be.
SPEAKER_04:Did you watch that show?
SPEAKER_01:Which one?
SPEAKER_04:Fallout?
SPEAKER_01:No.
SPEAKER_04:Such a good show, huh?
SPEAKER_01:Is it? I never seen it. I heard it was good. It's a game, too. Shout out to yeah, shout out to Bethesda Studios. I've been I've been stuck on Starfield lately.
SPEAKER_04:That's no, it's okay, it's okay. You got your own truck. Um, no, it's a good show. I recommend everybody to watch it. No, I want to watch it. I heard it was a game. It's a video game, but when you're watching the show, I'm like, wow, this is a video game because it's a really good like story. It's a really good storyline.
SPEAKER_01:It's about the world after Fallout, right? Yeah. That's basically what Fallout's about. It's about it's basically radiation, right? You go above the above ground.
SPEAKER_04:There's so much more, yes, but there's so much more into it. So the vaults, you guys gotta watch it.
SPEAKER_01:You live in them. People live in them, right? There's like cities down there and shit.
SPEAKER_04:Then there's like a uh like a caveat. Yeah, like trust me, you guys should watch it. There's it was like I'm not gonna kill it for anybody, but you guys should watch it. Okay, there's like a twist, like you find out the truth of how that um like how the world ended.
SPEAKER_01:That's crazy.
SPEAKER_04:I'm telling you, right?
SPEAKER_01:Like how that what happened to the like why it happened. I'm gonna watch it. I heard it. I wanted to wait, see what's on Amazon. I like to binge, I know.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, it's on frame.
SPEAKER_01:I like to binge shows. So what I tend to do is I tend to wait till the show's done. So I can just sit down and watch it and or at least a few seasons have passed by where I have enough material to you know what I'm saying, to to binge watch. But um, I think I think uh uh a lot of a lot of the stuff that that happens in in Fallout, like from the games and stuff, that world is kind of depressing in a way. I wouldn't want to live in a world like that, man. That's sad. You know what I mean? Like exactly. I'd rather live in a world like again, this isn't sound biased because I've been playing it lately, like Starfield, where you can go to different planets, there's different beings and creatures and did you ever play Dead Space? No, but I heard it's great though.
SPEAKER_04:I'm sorry, I'm like derailing up the city. No, but I enjoy watching it.
SPEAKER_01:I like watching I know they remade it a couple times too.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, so I watch um I watch my brothers play it. And um my my oldest brother, well, I mean, they're all older, I'm the baby. Um, he would turn off all the lights and play Dead Space, and that was like one of the scariest.
SPEAKER_01:That's an old movie, an old game, I mean.
SPEAKER_04:So was um Bioshock.
SPEAKER_01:That's a good one too. Underwater?
SPEAKER_04:Yes, yeah, Rapture. That one was creepy. Dead Space was Dead Space was the creepiest one for me, though. I remember jump, like it was like a jump scare. It was like watching a movie.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, Bioshock is that's dang. You're dropping dropping names. That was a good one, too.
SPEAKER_04:They're good. I don't understand. City of Rapture. I suck at video games. I think the only video game I've ever been really good at was uh Gears of War. Classic, another good one. Three and three, thank you, brother, and DJ Hero.
SPEAKER_00:Here's the world's dope. That's classic.
SPEAKER_04:I used to play online with my brother and we reached level 50, like wave 50. Oh, the horde? Oh, you guys did the horde, okay. Yeah, we we dude, we reached wave 50, and I was like, that I don't know why that like that's one of the few games that I was gonna do.
SPEAKER_01:Those modes are cool, but I personally am a story mode guy.
SPEAKER_04:In the same topic of end of the world, because yeah. It is in topic.
SPEAKER_00:It's already ended, though, in that one.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, it already ended. It was, yeah.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, for those that don't know, living under a rock, and which by the way, I'm I can't wait for them to finally adapt this into a movie.
SPEAKER_03:Which one?
SPEAKER_01:They just gotta do it.
SPEAKER_00:They gotta do it right though.
SPEAKER_03:Gears of War, it's gonna have to be a show. Yeah, no, not a movie. No, no, it there's so much storyline.
SPEAKER_04:Remember how horrible the first one is, his wife, like how he finds her, and she's gonna be a big one.
SPEAKER_01:Oh, you're talking about Dominic's wife.
SPEAKER_04:Yes, they gotta do that justice.
SPEAKER_01:Not Marcus Phoenix. Marcus Phoenix is the main character, and then Dominic is like his best. Yeah, Dominic is cool, man. What happens to his wife? Spoiler alert, those are old, those are old games for people that don't know. The way he finds his wife and he has to put her out of her misery is too much.
SPEAKER_04:Dude, I almost teared up.
SPEAKER_01:Like when I was watching my brother play it, I was like, those games are good games, they have good stories, man. No, so good games. With Halo. Halo was supposed to be a movie, there's supposed to be a tri uh three uh three-movie deal with Halo, the Halo series, and then that fell through.
SPEAKER_04:But I sucked at it. That game is so hard. Oh, Battlefront. I really like Battlefront too. Okay, we're VR, yeah.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, we'll get into it. Anyway, so apocalyptic wise, I was gonna say one last thing real quick about games with um gears. Creatures that come from under the ground. That's scary, bro. In my opinion, that's a good premise for a movie. Oh, yeah. End of the world, but then you got these creatures that are like all locusts that come out of the ground and shit, the sinkholes.
SPEAKER_06:Which is the real thing.
SPEAKER_01:They sinking entire cities and shit.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, the locusts, I mean the locust is real, but yeah, but you know what's crazy about about locusts? Is that they're originally grasshoppers. Yeah, I think so.
SPEAKER_01:I don't know why they call these creatures that because these creatures are not they have some flying creatures at the butt and they're not all like that in that.
SPEAKER_00:No, so the thing, no, I'm saying a locust is a grasshopper. Yeah, and they transform into locust when there's like scarcity or like something triggers it, and they literally change into a different and they can fly. Yeah, well, I mean, grasshoppers. Can fly regardless, right? They can't. But grasshoppers are like calm. They're calm and they're chill.
SPEAKER_01:Locusts, like, they take everything, like like they're just they're like an aggressive grasshopper, but again, this also ties into the topic, like like Jurassic World Dominion. Yeah, which by the way, I hated this storyline for that movie. I thought it was the dumbest thing they could have put in there. Did you watch the last Jurassic World?
SPEAKER_06:What actors come out in it?
SPEAKER_01:Chris Pratt? No, this is what's the most recent one, not the one that's coming out next month.
SPEAKER_04:Um, I was kind of bored. I was watching it, I was a little bit more.
SPEAKER_01:Chris Pratt, but also um, what's his name is in it? Sam Neil, the original Jurassic Park. I was upset. It brought him back. It brought him back. But I was upset because of the storyline was trash. They could have done better with those characters, bro. They brought back legacy characters, you know, the original Alan Grant, you know, Alan Grant and Ellie Sadler, those big characters. Dr. Ian Malcolm? He did.
SPEAKER_00:He did?
SPEAKER_01:Brought all three back. Jeff Jeff Goldblum. Jeff Goldblum came back, Sam Neal. You know who I'm glad you know who Sam Neal was. A lot of people just say the guy from Jurassic Park because they don't know. Yeah, I like him. I think he's a good actor. Great actor. He was in um Horizons as well. Sam Neal was like the main uh the main guy with the with the you know with the safari with the Indiana Jones hat. I didn't know his name, but I called the Indiana Jones hat with the fedora. Yeah. You know, he wears it, he's he's a classic like paleontologist, main character of the first Jurassic Park. So they brought him back. I was excited for his character. I'm gonna lie, as a kid growing up. He loves raptors, too. Yes, he does. Yeah, that's his favorite fucking dinosaur. But I was excited to see that. But the reason why I bring up the whole reason why I even bring up Jurassic World in the first place is that in Dominion, the movie that they bring him back finally, since Jurassic Park 3, they brought him back in that one. The storyline was a waste. It was about fucking locusts and how they were taking out crops and shorting the food, and there's gonna be a drastic can end the world type of which I get that. What does that have to do with fucking dinosaurs? I came here to watch humans fight dinosaurs in the mainland, right? Because for the longest time. Because for the longest time, what was that? What was it at? The dinosaurs are always on a secluded island. You guys remember that? They were always going to the island. Isla Sorna. Right? So the biggest selling point for this movie was now they're on the mainland. What the fuck do we do? You can't just escape the island anymore. You know, like in the past, you escaped the island, you escaped the dinosaurs, you live to tell the tale. Now these fuckers are you're at Jack in the box and he might run through the drive-thru. You might have a raptor come through your window. You see what I'm saying? Like that was scary. That idea of that, bro. How do you not come up with a good story for that? There's so many possibilities, right? So many ideas you could have you could have ran with that. They chose that. And they chose that. I was like, just for them to reveal, you're gonna get this is the kicker. They found a secluded place on the mainland that they put up walls around and they made it a sanctuary for the dinosaurs.
SPEAKER_00:A sanctuary.
SPEAKER_01:Who the fuck wrote this shit? I was looking at it like, were you these are writers? These are A-list writers for you guys couldn't come up with a better movie premise? They could have asked us. You know how out of control the breeding would be? How these dinosaurs would go across the planet again? No, but remember you could have ran so many good directions with that premise, bro. And I'm like, what a fucking waste.
SPEAKER_00:Remember, they they said that they were uh infertile or some shit like that, remember?
SPEAKER_01:Oh, they had lysin and it would it would kill them after a while. Okay, fine. I guess that that makes it then at least more tangible. Uh all I was gonna say was I brought up you know Dominion because of that. I thought that was stupid, even though it was a world-ending uh situation. Really? Prehistoric locust is the problem, and they're destroying the crops. I thought uh I thought a more terrifying world-ending situation would be the dinosaurs running wild rapid, you know? Yeah, you know what I'm saying, uh um breeding and killing humans and shit. I still would have liked to see the bigger issue being, since it's supposedly such a new situation, is the dinosaurs now trying to survive with them being in the mainland. Like, how do you your everyday life is gonna change now? You can't just go to the grocery store, you might run into a fucking raptor. You know what I'm saying? Like, you know what you're gonna see outside your house. On aisle three. Bro, I would have loved to see that. I would have loved to see instead of a raptor in the kitchen scene, I would have loved to see a raptor in the fucking grocery store scene. You know what I'm saying? Like something like that, dog. Multiple raptors.
SPEAKER_03:Ah, fuck the raptors out.
SPEAKER_01:Fuck, we can't go because he's down the street now. We see the T-Rex over there.
SPEAKER_00:Uh resonating chamber with you. Remember? Oh, yeah. Call for help.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, see, I would no idea what you guys are.
SPEAKER_01:I would have loved see, because you don't understand. You don't watch Raptors.
SPEAKER_04:I don't I've never been a fan.
SPEAKER_01:Oh, that's terrible. You know, man.
SPEAKER_04:They're good, but I've never been.
SPEAKER_01:But it's like, yeah, but I think it should resonate in chamber.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, you're like, oh yeah. Oh it's like a fucking like harmonica and shit. The fuck?
SPEAKER_01:Supposedly the bone and their throat or whatever.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. Hey, but they kind of like understood it though.
SPEAKER_01:They didn't know, but then but then they hear they heard the the military coming. And that's why it took off. Hold up, five 5-0. Something big. No, they were like, bro, something big is coming coming after he asked for help. After he called for help, something big is coming, so they took off running. They didn't know what the fuck it was coming. He called for help, man. Yeah, no, that was a funny coincidence. And the military shows up right there. How fucking convenient. As soon as he calls for help, they just go. No, this is Jurassic Park 3. This was like back in 06, 07. It was old. Oh, 03? Was it 03 that came out? Oh, damn, that's right. Dang, the first three movies were old. No, the first trilogy was 94 was the first one, I think.
SPEAKER_00:98 was Lost World, and then 2003 Lost World. Oh three was Jurassic World 3.
SPEAKER_01:Man, so anyway, um, but yeah, I I would I was expecting more so to see that and not the locusts kill our food supply. I'm sorry. I feel like that is less. I mean, even though that could be I like how realistic it was, right? But I don't think it's entertaining for a movie.
SPEAKER_00:Like for the movie premise, it's not it's different, but I think, you know, logic-wise, just you know, with like paleontology and like how they because it was with engine creating, you know, prehistoric animals or like re-re creating animals.
SPEAKER_01:Which those big ass locusts were prehistoric locusts, yeah.
SPEAKER_00:That's that that was a movie, but so that's I think people would miss some people are gonna miss that just because they're like a general audiences are, but even like back then bugs are are reported to have been huge, like spiders, everything was big.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, yeah. And they could have done they could have done more. I'm done with that after this, the last thing I'm gonna say. They could have done more with the legacy characters, in my opinion. Alan Grant and uh Ellie Sattler and Ian Malcolm bringing all those guys back. They could have done something more with those characters. I'm just saying. I mean, you did get closure, you know, with the with the characters, which I thought was kind of nice. They all got closure with all of them. But anyway, aside from that, back to the end of the world stuff, that's a good example of that. But I I think that in this more situation, more current one that's going on with us, um, Julia did ask us to come up with three right you three three uh three items we had to have with.
SPEAKER_00:So are we talking about World War III, like like the fallout of World War III, or just when when it's happening? Yeah, it's when it's happening.
SPEAKER_01:Okay, so like right now, if it were to go down from the room. And sirens are going off.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah. I mean, there's most likely you're gonna die. But if you were the few to have survived the bombings or whatever war we get into, then what do you think are those three items that would save your life?
SPEAKER_01:So who's going first? Oh, that's a good question. It's yours, your eyes, your topic idea. Like if she's ready, she's like, Yeah, please let me go first.
SPEAKER_04:No, I'm not ready. I actually only have two, but okay. Oh, you want to go?
SPEAKER_01:Real quick though, before you get into it, you guys, I want to ask you guys this. What would you do right now if the middle of the podcast right now we're recording it happen? Everything just shut off. Right now, happen done. Phones don't work. What are we all doing right now in this moment? My kids are at daycare.
SPEAKER_00:Of course, hold up. No. I would go straight. You're you're calling your family. Car doesn't work, though. You're calling your family, nothing works.
SPEAKER_01:EMP shit, guys. Oh, so all electricity's out.
SPEAKER_00:Find a way to get in contact with your loved ones, right? To and and find a place where everyone can meet up. Everybody, all your loved ones meet up in one place.
SPEAKER_04:But we need an we I think it's a tricky part to know that beforehand. Like what we do.
SPEAKER_00:No, I'm gonna set off the record, but yeah.
SPEAKER_01:What if you don't have those things in place right now? What right now with your family? Do you guys have a rendezvous? No.
SPEAKER_00:No, but but I'm saying, like, when that does happen, that's like that's a that's a priority.
SPEAKER_01:Exactly. So I'm saying what if it happened right now in your life, how you are right now?
SPEAKER_00:Immediately, obviously, shelter, food, I need a weapon. Okay, ammo and shit. Like, I'm gonna need So what are you doing right now?
SPEAKER_01:Are you leaving now? You're at my place right now.
SPEAKER_00:The bounce fall right now? Yes. I'm going back to the I'm going back to the spot. Well, actually, we're all gonna for but because since we're all gonna be here at the same time. Together, yeah. So we're already here at your place, you're gonna get your your your shit first. Yeah. Of course. Yeah. Then we're gonna go in your car. Or the cars don't work. Cars don't work. Everything's out. Well, everything's out. So you're gonna get your you're gonna get your shit. We're gonna go to my spot, I'm gonna get my shit, then we're gonna go to your spot, we're gonna get your shit. But I'm all the way in like we're gonna have to find a way to get there. We're gonna have to find a way, yeah. You know what I'm saying? Now, now if you're cool with leaving that stuff to go, you know what I'm saying, then fine, then you know what I'm saying. But we have to be grouped up. You sure have to be grouped up. You don't you don't need to be sorry because it's splitting up. So don't we? Don't be alone because in at that moment, anarchy's on the on the hurrah. We're grabbing weapons.
SPEAKER_01:Here, I'm starting with weapons for where we're here, so we're getting out my weapons first.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah, and then we're gonna go out with a knife.
SPEAKER_00:Because anarchy is gonna happen after the fallout. Like, like, like let's say if if the bombs fall and things are like destabilized, in my opinion, there's gonna be anarchy, right? So that means that means that it's like the courage. Anything goes. So no one's safe. Yeah, at that point, no one's safe. So strength is in numbers, you're gonna have people have people that are in numbers doing bad shit, people in numbers that are that are doing good shit. So it's you're gonna have to find a group. You're gonna have to group up and you're gonna have to group with the with with the with the bigger group. Fuck. That's what's gonna happen. If it happened right now, that's what you would have to do. So all so yeah.
SPEAKER_01:It'd have to be us three for now until we can until we can get more people to come up with that. No, no, no. That's a question.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, for right now.
SPEAKER_00:But I think in general, right? In general, let's say like you know what's gonna happen, right? You know you have you have the knowledge. Shelter, right? Communication, of course, food. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_06:You only get three.
SPEAKER_00:Well, yeah, but those are the three. No, he's just he's just saying right now. Okay, okay. But then now but then now now you said yours, we're gonna need more than three, obviously, but those are the three core ones.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, so what would you do right now in this moment if it happened?
SPEAKER_04:Right now, and we're not answering the question. Okay. Um I don't know. I don't think there's much I can do. I mean, I don't have a car, I don't have a phone, I'm just with you guys. Yes, I would have to go with what Fury said because yeah, we have to stick together because I'll probably get murdered or raped or whatever. Yeah, you're not gonna let you go by yourself to the house, is that you're gonna be able to do that. So so yeah, I would pick I would pick that one. Get what weapons we can have, regroup. Um, probably start packing like water and food just in case we can't come back here. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06:True.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, that's how I would start. I don't know how it's gonna play out, but that's how it would start.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04:Damn, just stick together.
SPEAKER_01:That'd be scary, low-key.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, that's flying.
SPEAKER_01:And then uh, man, for me, yeah, same thing. I mean, obviously, my children, my biggest thing would be, man, my kids, what's gonna happen now? They're at their daycare.
SPEAKER_04:Is it far from here?
SPEAKER_01:It's a good little walk. It's past it's past the Walmart over there in the East Side.
SPEAKER_04:Oh, so that's a good little walk.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, so that's a little far. So I know that at least the daycare is gonna, they're gonna he, they're gonna protect the kids that are there, obviously. At least I know they're safe where they are right now. At least I know that much, right? But I wouldn't know whether I would I would get your guys' opinion. Should we go get them and then come back here with them? Or is it just a liability carrying them around for now until we figure things out so we agree with other people? You didn't have to get them. Oh, of course. They're my children. I'm not gonna leave them there. Well, yeah, but I just I'm saying whether I go now or later, I don't know. That's that would be the toughest decision. ASAP.
SPEAKER_00:Because they're they're at at risk too. Me that's true.
SPEAKER_01:The longer you go without them, you don't know what's happening over there. So what if someone got a bit breaks in there, starts looting, and then they get yeah, you're right, fuck that. We're gonna go get them first.
SPEAKER_00:That's my priority, is going with my children. Out here, I would just hope like that it wouldn't happen during the fucking summer because it's hot as shit. Oh yeah, please. Goodbye, Central Air, bro. You can't pick. I know. I would prefer to.
SPEAKER_03:You know what I would prefer is that it's not a good not to end just yet.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, of course. Of course. Couldn't choose, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_01:Absolutely winner.
SPEAKER_00:You know what I'm saying? Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah. You had a choice, you had a choice, right? Yeah, it's not a good thing. No, I agree. I agree. I agree. Because that would be so fucking bad right now. But that's what I would do. Yeah, all right. So now let's get into the let's get into the questions in the breakdown. So you go first, you tell us what your three items would be. You said you only had two. What would they be and why?
SPEAKER_04:Okay, well, first of all, I don't think I would survive World War III. I'll just be honest with you. I'm not trying to be delusional, like, oh yeah, I'm gonna kick ass or anything like that. No, I think within a few days I would probably die because knowing me, I'm like gonna try to save this kid that I see like alone or or that old person. Like, just knowing me, like, I don't think I would survive. But if I needed to have three equipments, like like three things with me, it would probably most likely be um solar paneled flashlight. Um not a gun, because then I would eventually run out of ammo. So I'm gonna pick like a machete or like a sword.
SPEAKER_01:Some type of weapon that you can use.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, some type of weapon that I can use against others. Yeah. Uh I can't say bow and arrow because I don't even know how to do that. But for sure, like machete or samurai uh sword, and then um Uh those water those like water containers that you carry that like can filter out whichever water you put into it.
SPEAKER_00:Oh that um like a straw, right? Yeah.
SPEAKER_04:No, not a straw. It does exist, so there's a straw. There's like a I don't I see I should have done more recently. It's a there they have the bag and then they also Yes, and then they also have bottles. And then it has like s uh I think several filters. Yeah, and it cleans it out completely. And it cleans it up. So like you could like do it at a river or um like other water sources. Like yeah, the whatever water source straw.
SPEAKER_00:That's what it's called.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, and it cleans it up, makes it actually drinkable. Yes, so matter how dirty the water is. It can literally have this is gross to say.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, no, I've seen it.
SPEAKER_01:But you could have feces and even urine in there, and like you clean it up, bro, to drink it. As nasty as that is, yeah.
SPEAKER_04:Those were before.
SPEAKER_01:For life depends on it. Would you do it?
SPEAKER_02:Oh yeah. Sorry. I'm drinking that water.
SPEAKER_01:You drink it.
SPEAKER_04:Well, because we need water to survive. No, for sure, for sure. I mean, obviously, food, like you can find a few bugs here and there, like just random stuff. But those would be my three things, even though I don't think I would survive. But those would be my faith. Oh no, I I do have faith in myself. I have faith enough to say that I will die. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00:I'll I'll die right away.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah. I'm not surviving.
SPEAKER_00:You gotta band up. Yeah, you gotta you gotta team up.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, but then that team will most likely turn towards you if things get really, really tough.
SPEAKER_00:But that's why cannibalism and the bigger the numbers is better. And also you have to so when you do it. Be around people that you know you can trust too. Gotta have that, and you gotta have people that are actually willing to work, you know what I'm saying? Because just just because the world ends doesn't mean people aren't lazy anymore. Yeah, exactly. You can't pick it because it's the end of the world. But I thought you can't you can't afford to be lazy in that in that situation. You can't, but the thing is people's people's um habits don't necessarily leave them just in that moment. You know what I'm saying? I think, okay, if someone's already having a a difficult time getting shit done regularly, right? Yeah. And when time's end, that's gonna I don't think it's gonna get any any any better.
SPEAKER_04:Yes, there'll be more dang, so weeding out the liabilities, that's gonna be but survival instinct is gonna kick in and you're either gonna be like survival of the fittest, like I'm gonna do whatever it takes to survive, or regardless if it's killing that person or that person to like help me live, there it that's gonna happen.
SPEAKER_00:So I'm I would be very like I still think yeah, you're right, but I still think that personally, personally me that a disciplined person will make it further in that instance. How do you know they're disciplined? No, no, I'm saying someone who isn't. They'll make it further than someone who isn't because because you already have the mentality. Gotcha that okay, I'm going to this someone who's not, they're gonna be, they might be resistant, they're gonna be forced to do it, obviously, right? But they're not they're gonna be like reluctant, probably, or they're gonna just there's not gonna be uh refined approach. Yeah, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, I get you now. Crazy because you're like you're you're saying like the more disciplined person has a better outcome. I think least emotional will probably have the like you don't let your emotions get to you, you think logically, you yeah, yeah, for sure. That would probably that would save you for sure, but I'm just saying I don't think I'm gonna survive.
SPEAKER_00:If if you don't team up, you won't survive. No, you definitely won't. You'd have to team up. You team up and then and then you'd have to like position yourself, like let's say like you teamed up, let's say like it was just us three, right? And then we like gathered more people, right? Let's say we gather like after a while, a thousand people, right? Right? You could be like chancellor or something, or you can be like the head of this department. I'm saying like head of this party.
SPEAKER_01:You're saying basically we we we we would use your strength somewhere else.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, you would have to you would have influence.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, but what I'm saying is I don't think I'll make it to that point.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, no, yeah.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, I don't think I'll make it to that. I mean, if you guys are therapy yes, of course, but I'm thinking just me as a person surviving World War III just by myself, if I like survive the nukes and stuff. I don't think me at person, like I don't think I could survive by myself. But now we're talking about grouping up and like staying together and stuff like that. So that I probably have way better chances because you guys are men and you're stronger and you guys can actually like fight off other men. But yeah.
SPEAKER_00:And there's gonna be a lot of that for sure. If there's ever like anarchy, for sure it's gonna be it's gonna be chaos, it's gonna be a bloodbath. In my opinion. I mean, maybe not, but I just think like some of the things.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah. Except it's not just one day, it's the rest of eternity.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah. No, it's true. Man, I you know what, I'll say this. Look, do you wanna go next for yours, or do you want to you want me to go?
SPEAKER_00:You can go if you want. No, you can go first, go ahead. Yeah. Yeah, like yeah. I'll go less. So we're talking about like well, I mean, because I already kind of gave him in a sense. You kind of did in a way, yeah.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, you kinda, yeah.
SPEAKER_01:What are the three items I shall do? Now, when you said it, were you saying like what are three things you need you know you need to live by and do? Or were you saying like three items you could carry?
SPEAKER_04:No, three items you can carry. Okay, so pick three. You didn't say those yet.
SPEAKER_01:Then I'm curious.
SPEAKER_04:Okay, so like three for you, nothing. So for me, like so for me personally, you personally.
SPEAKER_00:Personally, since I'll know I'll because in that instance I'm gonna be more like nomadic anyway, so I'm not gonna have a have a permanent place. For sure, a weapon, right? Weapon, either a projectile or like a like a slashing weapon, or both, right? So like kind of like machete or not, something to defend myself. Yeah, something, right? Bigger bigger version of this, obviously. A sword, a machete, a bat, a freaking staff, a spear, something, right? Yeah.
SPEAKER_04:A wand.
SPEAKER_00:Bow and arrow. Instead of a wand? Right? Right, bow and arrow? Fucking bow and arrow, gun. You know, preferably. Of course. Flamethrower. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_01:That's a heavy one to carry around, though. Flare flower.
SPEAKER_00:I'll need, yep. I'll need bazooka. So obviously, food, food is like, is uh, I think is is a general thing, so that's automatic, right? But I'll say medicine? Yeah, um, those are gonna be the first things.
SPEAKER_02:Those are the first things to get looped.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, it's not a good idea. Because whatever cut and it gets infected, you're dead already.
SPEAKER_00:You're screwed if you don't get a treatment. Medicine and then a device to communicate with. Obviously, if there's an EMP. Yep. I mean, obviously, after the EMP like goes, anything, anything that was online is off, right? But it doesn't mean that you can't recreate anything and still have like you know, radio. So you can still do it. It's just like it's gonna you're going from.
SPEAKER_04:Like you you crank up so and then it doesn't require, like, I don't think EMP would mess it up.
SPEAKER_01:But if it's on, it will. It will, if it's on it's on, it will. What's scary about EMP, you have to understand this too, um, Julia, is that electric magnetic pulse pulse. And what it does is it it fries the system to the point where it won't work ever again.
SPEAKER_04:So then we're fucked.
SPEAKER_01:Not we're only fucked, the only thing is.
SPEAKER_04:We're gonna have to resort back to nature. I'm telling you, of course. Hunting and all that, yeah. Like like like bow and arrow. Um you be fucked out here.
SPEAKER_01:You know, you know who said it? You know who said it? No, no, you're right. Sorry, go ahead. I'll save this from my for mine.
SPEAKER_00:The reason why you're gonna be fucked, though, it's not because necessarily because everything's offline, because people are gonna be acting crazy. That's why you're gonna be fucked.
SPEAKER_01:And not only that, Joe Rogan said it. And this is all I was gonna say this from when I go. That's why you need a flash. I'm gonna say it now. He said, yeah, no, you're right.
SPEAKER_04:That's it, one of those solar powered one because you're gonna eventually run out of batteries.
SPEAKER_01:Joe Rogan made a good point. He's like, if we're living off the land, if you're in the LA area, you're fucked. Oh, yeah. There's nothing out there.
SPEAKER_04:No, any big city area.
SPEAKER_01:What the fuck are you gonna hunt? There's nothing in a hunter, eat a big thing. Any big city area, you're fucked. Yeah, nothing in the LA County, bro. You're there's nothing out here. In New York City? You can eat a coyote, a dirty rabbit-ass coyote, or you can eat a eat a snake. Fucking kill snakes and shit. Rubs.
SPEAKER_04:There's rabbits.
SPEAKER_01:There's rabbits too. Eat some bugs, fucking bugs, rabbits, yeah. What else are you gonna eat out here? Kunumatada. Kun matada for sure. So, but he's right. You're fucked. If you're in the LA area, you're out here, you're not. There's nothing to hut, there's nothing to hunt, really, bro. There's no antelopes out anymore. Was there at one point? Animal Valley Not anymore. There was at one point. Not anymore. Them motherfuckers are dead. They they uh extinct from this area.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, because humans came in.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, so that's why I I don't know. That would be terrifying to me, man. But my are you doing three items? Three items, already? What was your third one?
SPEAKER_00:Communication device. So medicine, communication, and a weapon. That didn't get fried. Yes. Okay. What if it got fried though? What's your no? So you have to have some some way to communicate, something. You so like either at so after everything's fried, you have to find a way to make a radio or something.
SPEAKER_01:You have to find a way to become who are you gonna frequent in on though?
SPEAKER_00:Someone else who someone else who's also like tapped in. Someone's gonna be tapped in. Someone, someone, someone's gonna have to know how to how to do that.
SPEAKER_01:Well, have a fried proof, yeah.
SPEAKER_00:You're gonna have to have have a line with some with somebody. Either, okay, communication, you can either so preferably a device, right? But when things get slowly better, there's gonna be people that are probably passing like messages, you know, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, but initially a device where you can like, hey, I'm over here, or what's a what's going on over here?
SPEAKER_04:I think it would go back to the Morse code, like, but you have to know how to communicate with that.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_04:So it would literally probably fall back to that.
SPEAKER_00:So education is actually key in this too. Like being, you know, all the stuff that we learned in high school that was like mundane, and like that's just gonna apply.
unknown:Okay.
SPEAKER_00:Um, arts and crafts class, right? Or like, or like woodcrafting class. That's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, we would have to resort resort back to um nature. Like we would there would be no Stone Age shit. Yeah, Stone Age shit, like bow and arrow, not uh you freaking carve off a knife and stuff like that. That's what eventually what it would it would be, I think. What are your what do you think? Well, oh, but do you think you would survive?
SPEAKER_00:I would try to. You would try to. I don't know. But I would love to.
SPEAKER_04:Well, I don't know either, but I'm just Seinfeld.
SPEAKER_02:I don't I don't think I would. Okay, rimshot.
SPEAKER_01:No, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Sorry, you can tell you what bad. Let's bring it back to something you can do. No, it's okay. Hey, let's restart.
SPEAKER_04:Hey, Windows. Windows is not going to be available after an EMP.
SPEAKER_02:Oh, yeah, it's not. It'll definitely be. Will it all? Windows is kind of basic.
SPEAKER_04:It doesn't matter. It's anything electric. Electric magnetic.
SPEAKER_01:It sounds like something grand is gonna happen. It still works. They can't be funny.
SPEAKER_04:When I die, that's what I'm gonna hear. Like bells. I'm not surviving, dude. I'm not surviving.
SPEAKER_02:Then you're gonna hear this then.
SPEAKER_04:Yes. Like you're buying off. I would yeah, no, I'm not surviving.
SPEAKER_00:I already know what it would be a very interesting time though. It'll be fucked up though. It'll be so it'll be so stressful.
SPEAKER_04:That's what I'm saying. Surve survival of the fittest. You're gonna see you're gonna see like you're gonna have to resort some to some brutal shit in order to survive. And then you're gonna have to have that in you. To kill. And anybody's survival instinct is different. So like yours could be different, like your your moral compass could probably still be good enough not to like fuck over people. But I know like there's gonna be looting, raping. Of course. Like um eventually when when you can't find any food anywhere, cannibalism, like it's like you you fend for yourself kind of person.
SPEAKER_00:We're all gonna be urban campers at that moment.
SPEAKER_02:You're saying that you're gonna be fatality.
SPEAKER_04:Fatality right here.
SPEAKER_02:We're gonna become urban campers.
SPEAKER_04:The only thing that I would be able to um like do is probably like run, for sure, like run for my life and probably like keep up and not get too tired. Um, and then well, yeah, that like I'm saying, uh back to um nature. I would be a a hunter-gatherer if I survive.
SPEAKER_01:No, for sure you're gonna have to. No, I agree.
SPEAKER_04:But uh AJ, what are yours?
SPEAKER_01:Mine. Okay, so as for mine three items I would take. I would definitely bring a weapon, that's the obvious one, right? And obviously, I I don't know because you got a point about ammunition, that's gonna be super scarce. And when you use it, you're gonna bring it up. It's gonna be a fucking paperweight. I hate to say it like that, but because rounds are gonna be damn near possible and impossible to find. So definitely a melee weapon, like you said, uh a long probably a machete. Probably that's because that's easiest to use and they're most durable and easier to sharpen. I would take that. As far as uh second and third, man, I had I had ideas. Uh did I write these down? Let me see. I think I'm about to write them down. Off the top of my head though, it definitely would be a weapon, that's the obvious one. Means communicate was a good one, like Furious said, but I don't want to copy that just because that's like copying your answer.
SPEAKER_04:Did you write them down?
SPEAKER_01:I didn't write them down. I thought I did.
SPEAKER_04:Even though you texted us.
SPEAKER_01:I did text you guys today. Did you write them down? I did. I know. I'm guilty, I'm not gonna lie. I actually did write them down, I didn't save it.
SPEAKER_03:Of course not.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah. Yeah, getting called out right now. By my calls.
SPEAKER_03:It's just edit.
SPEAKER_01:This particular episode, hell yeah, that's just fucked. I'm gonna leave it in though. Fuck it, whatever. Hashtag leave it in, right? We say no, we say furious, hashtag leave it in.
SPEAKER_02:Park it.
SPEAKER_04:Okay, come on.
SPEAKER_03:AJ, what are you doing?
SPEAKER_04:Do you think, bruh, do you think you would survive? And if so, what three items do you think will help you survive?
SPEAKER_01:All right. Um man, I would say obviously a weapon for sure. Um second one. Man, let me think. What would I really, really need? Like you you hit the nail on the head when you said water purifier. I was thinking the same thing. I did write that down originally. I did. I didn't put that. You can just boil it though. That's true. But what if you're not around fire?
SPEAKER_04:I know how to make a fire. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:But even not, that the filter, I feel like.
SPEAKER_04:Do you have a pot?
SPEAKER_01:But I feel like the filter is faster.
SPEAKER_02:So you can make one. You can find one. You can have the five. Either you're gonna walk around with a crossbot row or a pot attached to your rope. You're gonna have to have shelter.
SPEAKER_01:No, I know, I know what you mean, but uh well, my whole thing is first one's gonna be a weapon, so machete. Okay. Machete. And then the second one, the second one is man, I don't want to say water purifier, but the reason why I like your choice of that, because it is fast. Doing it that way is fast without having to boil it, and it's something you're gonna need to live with water.
SPEAKER_04:Um especially in this heat.
SPEAKER_01:And then you said yours are good in a rechargeable flashlight with solar. That's true. That's smart.
SPEAKER_04:Solar panel.
SPEAKER_01:Solar panel attached to it.
SPEAKER_04:Flashlight, yeah.
SPEAKER_01:It's a rechargeable flashlight that uses solar to do it. That's actually smart.
SPEAKER_06:That's fucking smart.
SPEAKER_01:That's a good one, too. Damn, you told you guys chose all the good ones, man. What the fuck is left that you really need to survive? I'm not gonna say I'm I'm gonna bring my book.
SPEAKER_04:It's your book.
SPEAKER_01:What the fuck? I need to read my book, so I'll bring it in that.
SPEAKER_04:That's what you think. Yeah, it's not what we think. I mean, I think everybody's gonna like.
SPEAKER_00:And you're only allowed to carry three? The number could have been bigger, but I mean, for three, I mean, yeah, you know. She's just saying three per three potential.
SPEAKER_06:It's just three potential.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, three potential like necessities. She's saying bigger. Yeah, three potential necessities, right? That you can carry like the top necessities.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, like it's funny.
SPEAKER_01:No, but I know why. No, that's not why. That's not why. No, you're it's not that's not only why.
SPEAKER_04:None of us are surviving a nuclear war, okay? I'm sorry, but we're not. So this is like cheeky ha ha.
SPEAKER_01:None of us are equipped for it, let's be honest. If if a if a missile hits us here, we're all dead. Right?
SPEAKER_00:No.
SPEAKER_01:Where are you gonna go?
SPEAKER_00:Out the way with that. I'm gonna get into that shit.
SPEAKER_01:See, the scary part about that is I'm gonna dodge it. You gotta have how are you gonna survive that? You got you gotta get to a basement, right? I'm gonna do a side flip. Because look, bro, there's nowhere you could travel fast enough to escape the buttons.
SPEAKER_03:He's on something. Right? He's on something.
SPEAKER_01:Oh, no, no, you mean shit is what he means.
SPEAKER_00:If it's a noob, I'm gonna.
SPEAKER_03:The point of this podcast is fucking full of shit. This topic, this topic. No, no, no, no, no, not the actual podcast.
SPEAKER_02:You gotta do that. Your second episode is the official host.
SPEAKER_04:Um, you gotta, oh no, that's this is my second podcast. No, this podcast isn't full of shit. As a host. This topic is supposed to be lighthearted and hee hee ha ha.
SPEAKER_01:Okay, I get that. But your own I I guess what you're trying to say is she was trying to narrow it down. You're narrowing it down to three because you want it to be tough to choose, right? Yeah. Because you want it to be, she wants the whole uh part of the I guess the whole point of the exercise, yeah, like she's saying, is to make you decide what the fuck. Obviously, you can grab a bunch of things. What three, if you can only take three, what would they be and why? I get it. So obviously, I think in that case, you need to pick the most important things out of everything that you wanted to grab.
SPEAKER_04:So your first one was which one again?
SPEAKER_01:Was a weapon. And then the second one, I don't want to say water filter, but what else is there that you guys chose all the good ones, man? I don't know. That's tough. I need two more.
SPEAKER_06:That's why you should have had your list.
SPEAKER_01:I know, I know, I know you've lectured right now. But it's like, uh uh, no, she's not wrong though. You're not wrong. Um, another good one, I guess, would be if I'm not gonna copy you, would be a quick fire starter. Like there are things called fire starters. I think that's a good idea. Just because not because I don't know how to build a fire, but because it's faster, a lot faster. Speeds the process.
SPEAKER_02:You don't gotta do that fucking shit.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, that bullshit.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, that fucking fucking all like uh caveman. Yeah, bro.
SPEAKER_04:There are some I've seen um that you can carry on your keychain. Yeah, and it's just like a quick one. I would take that, yeah. I would take that. That's a good one.
SPEAKER_01:So that one along with the multi-tool tool set that's together with it, because they do come together. Yeah, so a multi-tool set with the Firestarter would be my second one. And then for the third one, because like it like Furious made a good point. I'm not gonna stay at one place for too long. You're just not in a world like that.
SPEAKER_04:Survival, but I I've remembered did you watch?
SPEAKER_01:I don't know if any of you guys it's kind of like that, and kind of like the Walking Dead, too, in a sense. These motherfuckers are just going around trying to find houses to eat food out of and survive. There's actually a few episodes where they show that shit, bro.
SPEAKER_04:Have you guys watched World War Z?
SPEAKER_00:That's good. That's my one of my favorite movies.
SPEAKER_04:No, it's such a good movie. But do you remember he worked for the CIA and he said uh um movement is survival or something like that? Like you gotta keep moving.
SPEAKER_00:Movimento es vida.
SPEAKER_04:He tells the like you gotta keep moving. You can't just stay in one place. So yeah.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, yeah, that yeah. But then those fools died because they were arguing after he left. Okay, why didn't we go with the location?
SPEAKER_03:I got a location in minds or whatever they were. I got a location.
SPEAKER_01:I got a location in mind. The alphas heard, and then they came out. I I got my third one. My third one isn't a thing. How about this? My my third one is my third one isn't an object. I'm gonna cheat a little bit here. My third one is is is a dead is a is a is a destination. Is that okay?
SPEAKER_06:What's your dead yeah?
SPEAKER_01:I'm getting the idea from I'm getting an idea from I got the idea from uh um you guys ever seen the book Eli? One of my favorite movies.
SPEAKER_04:Oh yeah. I saw that actually at your house. You did, right? With your parents. I don't think you were good fucking movie. I probably I saw it with Ashley, John, and I think Josh was there.
SPEAKER_01:Good movie, yeah or Junior.
SPEAKER_04:Because remember Junior. You might have been there, yeah.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, you didn't. Yeah. Solid, solid, solid movie.
SPEAKER_04:Have you seen Book of Eli?
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, with Denzel.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, Denzel. So what I would do, I bring that movie up because his final destination where he brings the Bible is um Alcatraz. Okay. Remember that he gets on a boat and they go to Alcatraz. And then it's all boarded up. Exactly. I chose Alcatraz because that is a good fucking smart ass place.
SPEAKER_04:Well, there's only water.
SPEAKER_01:Exactly. And you see who's coming in, who's coming and going. You see what I'm saying? So bring all of our supplies, whatever we can, people we really, really trust, build, build a foundation there. Because I feel like that's the best place to go, bro. Just because one of the best. That would be a journey for us. That's fucking fun. And we wouldn't be be the first ones there. That part. So then when I would say is then you have we have to load up weapons, ammunition, whatever we need, we're gonna have to take it by force. And hopefully we have hopefully they don't have enough numbers to kill us on the way.
SPEAKER_00:That would be a brutal journey, bro.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, we'll be so scared. Well, that's San Francisco. You gotta we'd be changed by that for sure.
SPEAKER_00:Like from us now to then, like after this, we'll be all right.
SPEAKER_01:Think about how many how many situations, scenarios we're gonna run into. Fucking uh bandits on the road killing people. We're gonna have to stay in like that would be scary just in the trauma from that, dealing with that shit.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, just to get there would be hella different.
SPEAKER_04:And that's what the movie Um 20 years later, they they were in Scotland and they were in an island where water obviously is surrounding them, so that's how they were able to like keep it, but then that island turned into like a cult-like thing. So that's just bound to happen because you don't have like um I'm sorry, but as human beings, like yeah, you're you're gonna create anarchy if there's no if there's not a stable leader or order exactly. So um, yeah, it was kind of just like that. I'm telling that movie had such a great premise. It could have been so good, and I don't know why they went off.
SPEAKER_00:You know what you gotta do? You just gotta watch it again. No, no, watch it again. I'm I'm gonna watch it. I'm I'm gonna watch it. I mean what I'm actually gonna buy it. You're gonna buy it? Which one?
SPEAKER_04:Well, it's still in theaters.
SPEAKER_00:I don't want to go to the theaters.
SPEAKER_04:28 years later, 10 inch. 10 inch.
SPEAKER_00:No, it's huge. That's that's that's like that's like what is this? It's like 16 inches right there.
SPEAKER_04:That's 16 inches? Okay, well, it was about that.
SPEAKER_00:But yeah, again, that's that's how you had it. Yes, that's how big it was. That's 15 inches right there.
unknown:That's how big it was.
SPEAKER_04:Okay, okay. Well, I don't I'm not good with measurement, sorry, but that's literally what it was. Big dick.
SPEAKER_01:Fucking nigga, bro. That's fucking wild.
SPEAKER_04:I'm sorry, but if there's World War III and we all are fucked, I don't think there's gonna be an alpha who's a giant and then have a 16-inch cock. Like, I don't think so, okay. I didn't even think about it. I don't think so. Well, you don't need to. You could live the rest of your life.
SPEAKER_00:They show all that shit? They show all everything, or what?
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, yes. They show all of it. He's like, like, you know, like Nephilins when there was like giants and like this world like years ago.
SPEAKER_01:Wouldn't that kill a woman? Like, you can't even the vagina canali, like, nine inches deep, bro. I don't know. It would not kill a woman, bro. It would not, bruh. No. Supposedly it's only I heard it. The deepest of girls' vagina goes is 10 inches. Where have you been? You gonna edit this out, bro? I thought it was scientifically. Bro, bro, women get fisted, bro. I know that bro. And there's a thing.
SPEAKER_04:Without her coming, there's a thing called legging. They put their leg in their pussy, and I don't even know how they're gonna flick it. You gotta eyes on TikTok. Not on TikTok, Twitter. Twitter be whole before it became a good thing. Yes, you know what? At the hospital, my fucking coworkers, and when I was Working transport showed this to me. There was a girl getting legged. Legging.
SPEAKER_00:Yes, like legging leg. Not like leggings, like this, like legging. That's what it's called.
SPEAKER_04:The leg was in the vagina. Yes. How much is a leg? I'm telling you, it's up to the calf. I don't know how that's possible.
unknown:With the foot?
SPEAKER_03:Yes, with the foot. You look like an MPT?
SPEAKER_04:And no, and my stupid coworker showed me like I wanted to know. They were just like, look, Julia. And I was like, why are you showing me this?
SPEAKER_00:Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. It was a leg? Wait, was a leg.
SPEAKER_04:Was a leg attached to somebody? She was doggy style, and the guy was literally.
SPEAKER_01:His whole leg?
SPEAKER_04:Yes. No, not his whole leg. Not his whole leg. I'm telling you. It's like up to here.
SPEAKER_01:She's dead after that. Like, what the fuck?
SPEAKER_04:What the fuck is that? Hey, I saw it with my own eyes. Wait, so this show was repulsive.
SPEAKER_00:So they came in together. They were so they came in conjoined? I don't know.
SPEAKER_01:They came in conjoined.
SPEAKER_04:I don't know. It was a clip that they showed me on Twitter. Because Twitter doesn't have like, you know how they don't like flag shit down. You could just watch anything there or post anything there. Um, yeah, it was like his foot and like half his calf was in there and he was like legging her. So 50, legging her.
SPEAKER_01:Legging her. Yes. Gosh damn. Yes.
SPEAKER_00:That's a deep vagina right there.
SPEAKER_04:That's what I'm saying. I don't think what he's saying is true. Half the calf and the foot?
SPEAKER_02:Yeah.
SPEAKER_04:Yes.
SPEAKER_00:A foot and the calf right now.
SPEAKER_04:I wish I could have the calf. Fury. I wish I could unsee it. I saw it.
SPEAKER_02:Alright, let's look this shit up on the phone, bro.
SPEAKER_01:Come on.
SPEAKER_02:This is really a thing.
SPEAKER_00:You got your phone? Are you fucking kidding?
SPEAKER_02:I ain't going on my fucking search. Come on, bro. Bro, go incognito.
SPEAKER_01:Go incognito, bro. Come on.
SPEAKER_00:You got a phone right there.
SPEAKER_01:Go incognito. Come on, Furious. Go incognito.
SPEAKER_03:He's not looking it up. And you know you're not gonna look it up because the shows. Anyways, this was apocalyptic talk.
SPEAKER_01:It's very apocalyptic, though. It is. It is. I agree. No, no, that's that's very apocalyptic.
SPEAKER_04:Legging is the precursor. That's a Roman Empire.
SPEAKER_00:That's a sign.
SPEAKER_04:That's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_00:You gotta get off.
SPEAKER_04:We gotta go out.
SPEAKER_01:Like human nature, we just meant to last. But when it gets to that point, we're not.
SPEAKER_04:Here for a good time, not alone. Because Gods are like not always a good time because I didn't know what it was.
SPEAKER_01:That's good. Because honestly, yeah, that's what this whole podcast is. That's all over the place. We should just it is a fucking.
SPEAKER_04:We should have talked about Twilight.
SPEAKER_01:Oh fuck. Here we go. Twilight. Okay, look.
SPEAKER_04:Okay, Fury. Twilight.
SPEAKER_06:Twilight.
SPEAKER_00:Nah. Yo. That should be the next future. But I will go in on Twilight.
SPEAKER_04:Oh, I'll go in on Twilight.
SPEAKER_00:That's actually gonna be a future episode, you guys. You gotta watch them, bro.
SPEAKER_01:We originally watched them.
SPEAKER_00:You actually you were supposed to watch them.
SPEAKER_01:I know.
SPEAKER_03:Shelby would be so happy. She would she'll watch them with me.
SPEAKER_01:She'll be like, let's do it. I'll do the I'll do it with you. Fuck fucking.
SPEAKER_03:I know we were sorry.
SPEAKER_00:That fucking movie. But that would be a good one. Bella is the most toxic chick. Jesus Christ.
SPEAKER_03:But so was Edward.
SPEAKER_00:Those at no. I mean, he's a free agent. You know what I'm saying? Bella. I'm saying Bella.
SPEAKER_04:Bella is just a hundred years old. You're gonna let a 17-year-old fool you and influence you. Be a little bit more of a man.
SPEAKER_00:But I mean like him just Yeah, but I just the whole the whole movie's weird.
SPEAKER_04:And it doesn't make sense because his he's frozen in time. So therefore you can't like you don't have sperm, so therefore you can't procreate, but then they have a baby. It makes no function. Except Edward didn't have a horse cock. Or maybe he did.
SPEAKER_00:They even broke the bed. The books didn't describe penis. Didn't they make the bed when they were doing it? Yeah, they did.
SPEAKER_04:That's how you know it's good.
SPEAKER_02:Oh my gosh. I have to start finging censoring who that movie's so cringe. It is, bro. We're gonna talk about it. Don't worry. Oh my god. Who made that movie?
SPEAKER_04:Uh Stephanie Myers is the author of the book.
SPEAKER_00:Was the book better than the movie? Did it actually make sense? No, it was still stupid. Miss Myers?
SPEAKER_04:No, it was still stupid, but I like reading. So if you it like like reading, then do it.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_04:Okay, where's this topic going? What's going on? Survival. End of the world over the fourth.
SPEAKER_00:World War Z type.
SPEAKER_04:It's such a good movie. It is good. I saw it. Did you see it in theaters?
SPEAKER_00:Yes, I did.
SPEAKER_04:Yes, I mean too.
SPEAKER_00:I like how everything pops off in like the first like five minutes and then it just keeps going. You know, like they're all having pancakes and shit, and like he's talking about his old job and then they're driving, and then boom, everything happens. I've watched the movie so many times I know every like inconsistency. Me too. I look at you guys.
SPEAKER_04:So um 28 days later and 28 weeks later is kind of similar to that because the zombies turn like within seconds. Yeah. Which is how World War Z is.
SPEAKER_00:Like 12 seconds.
SPEAKER_04:Yes, 12 seconds. Um in uh 28 weeks later, it's like two seconds, like three seconds.
SPEAKER_05:Instant.
SPEAKER_04:It's instant. And and they run fast, just like the ones in World War Z. So that was a really good movie because it came out early 2000s.
SPEAKER_00:Because even in um in the first 28 days later, it was still fast.
SPEAKER_04:So you've seen it.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, I've seen all of them. Oh, yeah. Well, no, I've no I've not seen it. I've seen days and weeks. Days and weeks. No.
SPEAKER_04:You dude, you gotta watch out.
SPEAKER_00:I think days and weeks are the best ones for sure out of the three, because they actually like follow logically. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_04:And then yes, it follows like what an apocalyptic situation, how it would play. Like a lot of them are gonna die. There's gonna be military bases set up for like, you know, the ones that survived, but that's still gonna crash. You gotta watch it, Andrew.
SPEAKER_01:It's good. AJ. It's fine. It's fine. All right, all right. I'm I'm checking them out. I I those are good movies. I know they are good. I have to get around to it.
SPEAKER_04:And it's really suspenseful, so you like won't be bored.
SPEAKER_01:I'm down.
SPEAKER_00:Okay, it's good. That's good then.
SPEAKER_04:It's good.
SPEAKER_00:It got um Hawkeye in it too. Is it? Yes. In uh in a part two. Before he became like really.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, I heard he I heard he doesn't, he hasn't been reacting a lot lately, though. Didn't he get in like a really bad action?
SPEAKER_04:He almost he died. Like he legit died. He got uh ran over by a s a small snow. He died, he died, and then he got brought to the side. They resuscited uh resuscitated him, and he's saying he saw the afterlife. Do it do your research. Uh but but you didn't know this. You didn't know this. Uh and you didn't did you notice? I kind of knew a little bit. Yeah, so he got ran over by a s uh snow plow, like full, like had he given everybody a focus on? I don't know. I I I you I was fucking like that. I don't remember. That I don't remember like he fully got ran over by a snow plow, and then um he said his eyeball came out. Um broke like all his ribs. He he like went into cardiac arrest and and then now he like walks with a cane. Like, no, this guy like literally it's like a miracle that he lived.
SPEAKER_00:When did it happen?
SPEAKER_04:2023.
SPEAKER_00:You said that he saw the afterlife? That that that's what you said?
SPEAKER_04:Uh that's what he's writing now. Like, that's what he put out in a magazine. Um he said that like he's like he he passed away. He saw the afterlife, and then he was so angry when he came back because he saw how beautiful the afterlife was.
SPEAKER_00:It was bliss. It was the white light and all that.
SPEAKER_04:Well, I don't know. I mean, if you whoever your b whatever your beliefs are, there's so many different accounts, man.
SPEAKER_01:Like I said, whatever your beliefs are. Yeah, I would say I don't know, man. There's there's a I know what I believe, right?
SPEAKER_00:What if he's like a uh what if he's like a you know a Buddhist like a Buddhist, you know? It could be that, who knows?
SPEAKER_04:But he said he saw the afterlife and that it was beautiful and that he was upset when he was like brought back to like reality. Crazy.
SPEAKER_06:That's that's deep right there.
SPEAKER_01:It is deep.
SPEAKER_04:That's really deep.
SPEAKER_01:Because whatever you're going to do. That's what I'm saying. I'll say, yeah. Sorry, go ahead.
SPEAKER_04:If it's apocalyptic, I'd rather just die. I don't want to suffer. I'm sorry, I don't want to suffer and like worry about how much water like I have left or like the you know, I I'd I just rather die.
SPEAKER_01:But I guess it's in it's a both you say that, but it's I wouldn't give up.
SPEAKER_04:No, I know, I know.
SPEAKER_01:No, it's in human nature to to survive. It's around. It can do better.
SPEAKER_04:It that's good that you guys have that in you. I don't have it. I I no.
SPEAKER_00:Okay.
SPEAKER_04:I'm not gonna live.
SPEAKER_00:So this this is the perfect purpose, right? Have you guys ever watched The Mist?
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, that's a good movie. So remember, remember it, remember the movie during the mist. Okay, spoiler alert, if you haven't seen The Mist, then you're weird because in like 2006. When did that movie come out? Yeah.
SPEAKER_00:So he jumps the gun.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, he jumps the gun and then he comes gets saved. But they didn't die naturally. I'm saying uh knowing me, I would die naturally. Like, not like I would try, I would die like fighting for my life, just knowing me, um, or fighting for somebody else's life. But he willingly, like they were like, Okay, well just kill me, and then he he shot everybody. No, you I wouldn't do that. But I'm saying I wouldn't be able to shoot somebody.
SPEAKER_00:No, yeah, but for but from his per perspective, he planned on shooting himself after. And he ran out of bullets. That's what I'm saying. So he still had the mentality, like, okay, I'm saving everybody, I'm gonna go too, but he couldn't. That was his punishment. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_04:That was his bad because count your bullets.
SPEAKER_00:But the thing is, in that moment, think about it. You're seeing monsters, right? No, but think in the moment, right? You're seeing fucking other worldly beings, right? Monsters. Like you're minded. It's just not it's just not there. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04:Have you seen that movie? The Mist?
SPEAKER_00:You haven't watched it? Man.
SPEAKER_04:Why are we even here? Have you watched the Pulp Fiction?
SPEAKER_02:Why are we? Of course I've seen Pulp Fiction.
SPEAKER_00:Okay, okay.
SPEAKER_02:Come on now. You haven't seen Pulp Fiction?
unknown:No.
SPEAKER_03:Oh my! And you want to rip on me? Okay, I take my words back on.
SPEAKER_01:Yo, what the fuck? No, but I've been wanting to watch it.
SPEAKER_04:It's just I haven't been able to watch it anywhere that's free.
SPEAKER_00:I got it. You got it?
SPEAKER_04:Like DVD or VH?
SPEAKER_00:YouTube. Congratulations. No.
SPEAKER_04:Oh, you bought it. So you buy a lot of movies on YouTube, huh?
SPEAKER_00:Movies that are good. Good movies.
SPEAKER_04:I know that's a good thing.
SPEAKER_00:I made the mistake of buying Morbius. Morbius is fucking ass. Morbius is trash. I saw it in the theater. It's probably worse than 28.
SPEAKER_06:I'm not. Yeah, Morbius is a good thing. No, I heard Morbius is really bad.
SPEAKER_01:I heard that movie was. I saw the theater, bro, and I was like, I stayed through it. Bad movie, but I watched it.
SPEAKER_06:No.
SPEAKER_00:I think I'm more of a walkout. There's only one good scene. I'll put up with it. I pay. There's only one good scene in the movie, and it's not the thing that it's not the scene that you would uh You can kill it.
SPEAKER_01:Because the way I see it, bro, the way I see it, the way I see it, that movie was so bad it was terrible. But if I pay for a bad experience, I'm gonna at least finish it. I'm gonna see how this bullshit ass movie ends. I don't understand.
SPEAKER_04:And if it's that terrible, I'm gonna walk out. It would have to be ass.
SPEAKER_01:No, no, no. See, my my thing against that. I know. See, but my thing against that is this. I'm never gonna watch it. I'm not sure. Yeah, I'm not. That is another world causing. I'm gonna say this right now. I I it had to be really, really bad for me to walk out of the theater, bro.
SPEAKER_00:Because I spent money to be there, walk out of Morbius, too. Would you have 20?
SPEAKER_01:It was bad. Like if I wasn't bugged. I'll say who I watched it with. I watched it with Slideshow and who was it? Slideshow, EQ, and um I think Compos went. I don't remember. Morbi's is fucking ass. But yeah, I think I watched it with them. And when I went to go see it with them, bro, we all agreed that this movie was worse shit. We ended up having fun making fun of the shit we were watching. That's what kept us in the movie, I think. Because we're like, hey, bro, how bad is this shit? How bad is this gonna get any?
SPEAKER_04:I think I love Twilight's worse.
SPEAKER_00:Is it gonna get any worse? And it got worse. Morbius is worse than it's worse than Twilight. Morbi's is probably one of the worst. It's the worst Marvel film ever. It was the worst, it's definitely the worst worst film.
SPEAKER_04:Well, I heard Madam Webb was pretty bad too.
SPEAKER_00:Morbius is worse, I think.
SPEAKER_02:I haven't seen Madame Webb, so I can't judge both, but I'll watch Madame.
SPEAKER_04:Madame Webb is Sony, so it's not like it's technically a Marvel.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, it's a Marvel. It's a Marvel IP, though. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04:Um, no, I because I was gonna I was gonna go to the movie theaters by myself to watch that one because it came out on Valentine's Day. Yeah. And it was like my first time being seeing one. Well, you gotta be six years. Hey, no, I'm vulnerable, dude. So I was like gonna take myself out, and then my brother came back and told me that that was one of the worst movies he's ever seen. And I was like, Yeah, Morbius is just shit. I never found the plastic. No, no, no, I'm talking about Madame Webb.
SPEAKER_01:Horrible.
SPEAKER_04:I heard Madam Webb is like horrible too.
SPEAKER_01:Oh it was that bad? I never said I heard like Why was that one received so badly? I wasn't.
SPEAKER_04:Well, my I mean, I think my brother is in like bias, like he really was like, no, like he's like, you know what movie's terrible, and like he just brought it up. He's like, Madam Webb was so bad.
SPEAKER_00:Oh damn.
SPEAKER_04:I think it probably I mean, I don't know. I'm not gonna watch it.
SPEAKER_00:It just didn't fit.
SPEAKER_04:I'll probably watch Morbius. Like, did it make you laugh?
SPEAKER_00:Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_04:But the so I would probably watch it to make me laugh.
SPEAKER_00:So, so so okay, so so at first, right? At first, I was fucking like disappointed. I'm like, this is bullshit, right? And then like then like I watched it again, right? And I'm like, it's just funny, right?
SPEAKER_03:You watched it a second time? Yeah, I did. Why?
SPEAKER_00:Because I bought it. I'm like, shit, you know what? Let me let me give it another chance, right? So I'm actually watching it for the You bought it on YouTube? Yeah, okay. So now I'm actually watching it for the plot, right? And I'm like, still no, you know, but but there's one scene in the movie, right, where I'm like, this is actually a fucking good scene. Well, there's one scene. I'll I'll You want to spoil it for you? Go ahead. You can see it.
SPEAKER_04:We're not gonna watch it. So I'm not watching it.
SPEAKER_00:Alright, so there's a scene. So okay, so basically what the story is, right? Morbius has this like genetic disease where he's like weak, right? He's like, he's got some type of disease that's that makes his like his bones weak. Like he like he's like, he's um what's that word? What's that one thing it's called? Like um ALS or whatever, where they're where your muscles are weak. You know what I'm talking about? Yeah, yeah. Where like where like you're you like you like you progressively get weaker, like cerebral palsy? Like you it's it's it's not that. I think it's um I think it's ALS, but but you're like you're like losing integrity, like he has canes and shit. He's walking like but he's a genius, right? He's freaking smart as fuck. He's like Tony Stark.
SPEAKER_04:Um what's that guy's name?
SPEAKER_00:But he can't fix himself. Like Stephen Hawking. Almost like that, right? Yes. So he will be like that, basically, right? But he's but but he's he's working on a on a cure for that, right? But so in and and he's also and I think he's also an um orphan too, right?
SPEAKER_04:So at his orphanage, he has a friend named um he was still a shit hen of cards, yeah.
SPEAKER_00:So at his at his orphanage, but at least he's a genius, you know what I'm saying? Yeah so at his orphanage, he has a friend named Milo, and and hit him, like his family's like super rich and shit or whatever, or like he's so somehow he gets into money, right? He's like he's like really rich. So what so when they grow up, they both have the same like condition. Milo's also the same, he's that he has canes and shit, he's very brittle or whatever, right? So um basically, like fast forward, once he finds out, once he turns himself into a vampire, Morbius, Milo overhears it, and then he he like finds a way to get it. He like finds a way to get it, and then like he gets the fucking power, right? And then like, but the thing is like there's a scene where he he like kills somebody to like to like eat or whatever, but like he's so liberated, right? And he starts dancing and shit. He does this whole like dance and shit, he's like looking in the mirror and shit. He's all like doing the moonwalk and shit. I'm like, bro, this that's a I remember that shit. That scene was the best scene to me. I'm like, okay, I get that scene. It was the rest of the shit, did not make any sense because that to me doesn't make any sense. But no, you know why? Because that's like saying about it. It's like hitting the lotto, right? Think about it. You hit you at one point you you can't move, you're walking on canes. Oh, okay. Then you get these fucking vampiric powers. You can fly, you got super sensors. You can yeah, he's just like, he's living in that shit. And he like he just killed somebody, and then he's just like, Yeah, I'm the shit. You know, that's the only movie that makes sense.
SPEAKER_01:You know what it reminds me of though? It reminds me of that. That doesn't only part that doesn't make sense. I don't know. You know what I'm saying? Fucking stupid. You know what? I don't know how the fuck this became a podcast about video, about movies, but it's the end of the world. It's the end of the world. Here we are. What else are we gonna talk about? Yeah, we're here. I'm just gonna embrace it. Fuck it. Time to talk. Anyway, um, but yeah, there's the there's one, it reminds me of um Spider-Man 3. Do you remember when he starts dancing?
SPEAKER_02:He puts the suit on and he goes.
SPEAKER_04:No, that's emo Spider-Man.
SPEAKER_01:I love it, bro. I love that. I love that. Oh, when he starts hopping the air and he's like, he's like this, he's pointing at all the girls and shit. I'm like, this was so back corny, bro. It's so cringe that. But he doesn't give a fuck. To him, he's like, he's winning, bro. Like, he's getting him all the pussy he wants, even though they're all like repulsed by him. I remember when he slides, he points at the girl and he goes, He becomes bad.
SPEAKER_04:I'm like, what the fuck is this cheesy ass shit, bro?
SPEAKER_00:That's like but it's so bad, it's good. Yeah, that's like his alter ego. That's like his version of like of like they call him bully, bully mequire.
SPEAKER_01:The music choice, too. Like the 50s music and shit, 50s jazz. I was just dying. I'm like, bro, they knew what the fuck they were doing. They wanted to make it as corny but funny as possible, bro. Like, it was good. That movie's so bad that it's good. I promise you.
SPEAKER_04:It wasn't good. You're gonna watch it, you're gonna laugh. Like, this movie is so so bad. It wasn't the best like Spider-Man movie.
SPEAKER_00:It wasn't. It was the most poorly repeated, poorly received. I like Spider-Man too. That was probably the best movie.
SPEAKER_01:No, it was good. Of course, number one. The one the first one was definitely, I think, the best. The strongest one was the first one. What's your favorite one? The second was good too, though. Toby. Nah, man. I love the name of Andrew Garfield. Just say it. Honestly, for me, it's it's that's tough. It's a tough say because I think they were all good in their own right, to be honest with you. Because you're thinking of fucking No Way Home, that's why. That's why when they all came together, you're like, damn. So I like I liked Holland because he was the most realistic, I think, uh, take on Spider-Man. Because he's an actual gymnast, too. He was an actual gymnast, but he was also in a high schooler when he started playing the character. I think he was just out of high school, supposedly. He looks like one at least. He passes as one. But he's come on. But he's a big one. Did the other two Spider-Man pass as high schoolers? No. But he's British. Now, mind you, this is the guy that grew up with Toby's Toby McGuire's Spider-Man too. Oh, you should have the 90s bias. No. No, bro, because I I honestly think I like him. I liked, I thought he was a great Spider-Man. I just feel like he was he was a college Spider-Man. He was no fucking high school Spider-Man, okay? He was Spider-Man in college, okay? All right, he was Spider-Man in college, okay?
SPEAKER_04:And then like like Spider-Man always had those like catch lines. Like he was always talking out loud, and like Tom Holland portrays. Okay, yes. I'm I'm not. I will understand what you mean. And if I was gonna for me, Toby. Really? Okay. So for me, it's your opinion.
SPEAKER_01:For me, I'm only gonna say Andrew Garfield just because I feel like if I was Spider-Man, that's who I would have been like. Minus not Tom Holland. The British Spider-Man. Well, let me explain what you're saying.
SPEAKER_04:He's so ugly.
SPEAKER_01:Oh wow, that's fucked up. You think Holland is is is cuter?
SPEAKER_04:Okay, Toby and Holland are way better looking than.
SPEAKER_02:Okay, look. I don't give a shit.
SPEAKER_00:What about the acting speaker? Hold on. The acting spirit. First of all, let me let me know.
SPEAKER_04:I don't I don't think Andrew was a good one.
SPEAKER_00:Let me put it this way. I didn't I don't like remake that up. No? Toby McGuire's as actor-wise and the Spider-Man, just because he's the OG, too. He's the original Spider-Man and the story like that.
SPEAKER_04:I'll I'll be honest with you, Tom Holland did a better take than Andrew.
SPEAKER_01:Hell yeah.
SPEAKER_04:Like if we're comparing. No, I agree.
SPEAKER_01:I agree. But I think I think the only problem with Andrew Garfield's version of Spider-Man, he was too cool to be Peter Parker. Think about it. He was never really bullied in high school. He ended up bullying. He was like a jock, actually. You remember what he did? He was like a jock, exactly. He was like a smart jock. He basically bullied Flash, the supposed, the supposed uh bully.
SPEAKER_06:Who Toby?
SPEAKER_01:Yes. No, not Toby. Um Andrew Garfield did. Think about it. He punked him. Remember in the remember in the gym?
SPEAKER_06:Not really.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, he did. He bounced the basketball off his back and then he dunks on him and breaks his back. I know, but the point is that he's spider powers, bro. So that's why he did it. Anyway, he's like, but listen to what I'm saying, though. Dugging the ball? No, but listen to what I'm saying, though. I'm saying, like, I'm thinking he's more of a bully. He wasn't really punked on. He wasn't really a nerd. You see what I'm saying? So I think I wasn't a nerd in high school either, so I can relate to him in that sense.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, you play football.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, exactly. So as jock, I guess. You remember that? Yeah. That's good times. Remember that too.
SPEAKER_04:And then when you graduated, I went to um because Ashley was a song girl. And I remember Laundra and I just hung out with your parents. And Adelia was like, no, go out with be with your friends. We're like, we don't want to. We want to be with you. Sorry, that was another derail. There's nothing wrong with being a nerd, though. No, there's nothing wrong with being a nerd. Nerds are billionaires now. Millionaires. Yeah, no for sure. They're successful.
SPEAKER_01:To be favorite though, my favorite though, I wouldn't say, I don't know. That's hard. I like them all. Just say it's Toby, bro.
SPEAKER_04:No, he said, he already said his. It's Andrew. And it's okay. We'll shit on him. No, no, no, hold on.
SPEAKER_01:Andrew Garfield's not my favorite one, though. You just said that. I know I gotta retract that statement now. He's not my favorite one. Because honestly, now more I think about it. What was it? I thought he was an okay Spider-Man. I don't think he was a fan of the fancy.
SPEAKER_06:He's not us influenced. It's your opinion.
SPEAKER_01:No, I still think he was a good Spider-Man. I disagree with you guys. I think he was a good Spider-Man. But I think the one who played the character the best would be Holland, just because he's the most realistic Spider-Man.
SPEAKER_04:And animated. His character, he was very animated.
SPEAKER_01:He's the most realistic from the comic book, in my opinion.
SPEAKER_04:Yes, I get what you're saying, because Spider-Man was very animated. He would talk while he was like fighting crime, and then Tom Holland was a very good idea. Which I think. But Toby, yeah, Toby did it.
SPEAKER_01:Toby was the was the cheesiest one, though. Spider-Man is cheesy.
SPEAKER_00:Peter Parker is corny.
SPEAKER_04:Peter Parker's corny because he's a nerd, so he is corny. But I get what you mean. Tom Holland portrayed more of the corniness, nerdiness.
SPEAKER_06:Yeah.
SPEAKER_04:I think just Toby just looked good. Like he was like, you know, he got really good looking, and and Tom Holland was more scrawny. I think Tom Holland was really good. So my my rate is um Toby, Tom Holland, and then Andrew.
SPEAKER_01:I don't know.
SPEAKER_04:That's my rate.
SPEAKER_00:I don't think Andrew Garfield was that. Just Toby.
SPEAKER_04:Just Toby. No, okay, so there's nothing there.
SPEAKER_00:So the thing is like, okay, so me, okay. You gotta okay. I thought Andrew Garfield was a decent one. Okay, you gotta you gotta see, okay. Me, I judge like, you know, the emotional death and all that stuff, right? I think Toby just played it better. Like Andrew Garfield, his emotional connection with Emma or with uh Mary Jane, weak. Tom Holland and his To me, it wasn't as strong as Toby and Kirsten Dunce, okay? It wasn't. Like the way that he says Mary Jane. I'm my brother. Spider-Man right there, man. Everyone else is like Mary Jane. Like it's just there's no visceral.
SPEAKER_01:Tom Holland's Mary Jane was was different too, but then um uh Andrew Garfield didn't. He didn't get a Mary Jane. He didn't get a Mary James. He got a he got a um, what's her name?
SPEAKER_00:Um Stacy or something. Stacy Glenn When Stacy Gwyn. Yeah, he had Gwen. And she died on him too.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, I know, I know. He had a fucking fucked up boy too.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, but you know what I'm saying, like, but like he redeemed himself in No Way Home, though.
SPEAKER_01:But like he actually saved the such a good movie. Yeah, he saved he saved what's her name, successful.
SPEAKER_00:I guess they all have, you know, they're all they all have bright moments in their in their own rights. But I personally think the OG's the best because that's what set it off. No, I agree. I just set it off. I agree, and all these fools watch both Spider-Mans to get in the characters, yeah. So you know what I'm saying? I I can obviously I agree with you.
SPEAKER_01:I agree with you on that one. He's the best for that reason. Yeah, but I think the other two are still good. Like Tom Holland's a good alternative because of because of his skill set. I like them both stuff.
SPEAKER_00:I don't know. I like them both. Like Tom Holland's a good alternative because of his skill set. He's like a good actual gymnast. He's doing all those clips like himself, all the stents he's doing, most of them, you know, and I guess he has the you know, like the bounciness of people like Peter Parker and all that.
SPEAKER_04:And he was scrawny, like what Spider-Man is supposed to be. He wasn't like supposed to be like a villain.
SPEAKER_01:No, but he was still he still was ripped enough to have muscles. He was ripped.
SPEAKER_04:But he was not like Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:Not like it, not like bulky.
SPEAKER_04:Uh Toby was tall and like buff, but he still fit the part.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. I think I I man, Spider-Man, that was my favorite movie at one point. Like, like like all-time favorite. I watched the shit like like nonstop.
SPEAKER_01:I'm sure we all did. I did too.
SPEAKER_06:Godspeed Spider-Man.
SPEAKER_01:Oh, yeah. The original was uh all right, guys. We gotta we gotta get off this topic and honestly. All right, duffed off the rails. I don't know what I'm gonna call this episode now. I will figure it out, we'll go from there. But anyway, say this is kind of all over the place. Sorry guys, it's not normally how we do things, but there have been a couple episodes. Remember like that one episode we had in the past with uh with the with what's her name? With Ling Ling and uh and I think we went up the rails too. That went way off the fucking rails. Bro, that was the most annoying episode.
SPEAKER_00:And I think it was Slideshow that fucking that like. Yeah, dude, he fucking springboarded it.
SPEAKER_01:He tipped it and we fucking went down the rapid. Yeah, but how about this?
SPEAKER_00:Okay.
SPEAKER_01:I was like, fuck, I don't know what to call this shit. That was actually one of the most annoying episodes I ever had to edit. I was like, I don't know what to this. Yeah, it probably will be. If you don't think it is, bro, it won't be. It won't be. Fuck it. I'll make it, I'll make it work somehow. Like, actually, I had a special name for that episode, too. I forgot. I think it was called um polysemis. Uh Last of Us. That's what it was called. Sorry, let me cut you guys out. What? I named that episode Polysemus. Do you guys know what that means? It means a fucking bundle of shit. Basically, but it basically This is polysemus too. Yeah, basically, look, describes a word that has multiple related meanings. Polysemus is all over the place, basically. So this is gonna be polysemus part two, probably, because I don't fucking know what to call this shit. We'll go from there though. I mean, guys, I just wanted to say that. Let's just wrap the episode up now. Just because we've been all over the place.
SPEAKER_03:Yes.
SPEAKER_01:We'll come back more collected. I picked next week's episode, you guys.
SPEAKER_04:Hey, you know what's going on.
SPEAKER_01:We have two left in the season, I believe, now we have two left stuff.
SPEAKER_04:You know what's so funny is that it just started to become like this. It did. I don't think any of us were like, but planned it out. Yeah, it just became like this.
SPEAKER_01:It just became like free free word conversation.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, we went on.
SPEAKER_01:It happens though, yeah, and that's normal for timeless talk. Anybody that's fans of the show know that. Yeah, it's a podcast, exactly.
SPEAKER_00:Conversation that never ends.
SPEAKER_06:Exactly. Thanks, bro.
SPEAKER_04:Yo, that sounded so sarcastic, but I love it.
SPEAKER_01:Anyway, all right, guys. So we're gonna go down the line here. Okay, so what is everybody's last let's say this though, for the as far as what's going on in the world, well, at least we'll end it with this, so somehow make it make sense, right? What are you guys' final opinions and thoughts that you want to share with our audience and listeners or viewers and listeners about what's going on? Any advice, or what what do you want to leave them with as far as the topic of a possible World War III? Uh, that's a deep question. That's a deep question.
SPEAKER_00:But trying to ask you World War III. Yeah, I don't know. I would say just you gotta keep all your relationships good. You know what I'm saying? Because in in the time that things fall, you're gonna need some help. Actually, get everything in order before it falls, right? Facts have have your your bug out area, have your equipment, everything, as much as you can, and it's not gonna be perfect, but have everything ready so that when it when the bombs do fall or whatever, you're at least you got some type of leverage, something. You know, it's not gonna be perfect, you might you might still lose, but at least you can have a fighting chance. Facts. Okay, that's good.
SPEAKER_01:What about you, Jules?
SPEAKER_04:Uh, I think um don't take your family for granted. You can't pick them, they are who they are. And one day or another, we're just gonna leave this earth and not be in existence to those other those other people. So just uh make sure you kiss your mom, your dad on the cheek, tell them how much you love them, um, the friendships and stuff like that. Uh keep them if if they're valuable to you, if if they mean something to you, like flourish on those relationships, uh, because any day could be our last. So just make sure you keep good with the people that you like is your circle, uh family and friends. Uh don't think don't do not take them for granted because literally right like right this day could be our last day. So just don't take anything for granted and appreciate what you have, even though you might think you're poor and and you don't have the best body or you don't have the best job or anything like that. Just appreciate what you have right now because it could literally end within a flash.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah. I agree with that. Alright, and as far as I go for me, you know, obviously you guys, you know, I gotta start saying this at the beginning of the episode, but if you haven't already, please hit that subscribe button, the like button, and the notification bell so you know whenever a new episode does drop.
unknown:I like this. I like that mic.
SPEAKER_01:Oh, thank you. Oh, sorry. So do I. No, I like it. It's in my logo, too. You know if you notice that logo. That's all I love it a lot. It's like the old school broadcaster mic. Yeah. That's why I bought it. I just I like it a lot. Yeah, but um, you know, do those things, you guys. I we appreciate all the support. Um, I know I keep saying it, but eventually there will be some merch coming. We gotta get some stuff together. I gotta sit down with these guys, discuss it, figure out how we can make that merch a reality because I do want to make some. I have some great ideas. But other than that, um, thank you guys for sticking with us. I know season five has been a roller coaster. I've been saying that the past couple episodes now, but um, once it's over, season six will be a lot more organized, we'll be a lot more consistent, a lot more on track. Um I do need to bring up some stuff to you guys a little bit off the record, probably about that whole situation for that extra show that I was talking about doing with Furious in the offseason, doing like street interviews. I don't know how you feel about that.
SPEAKER_04:Street interviews?
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, we'll go into detail.
SPEAKER_04:Oh heck yeah, I can talk to anybody.
SPEAKER_01:Okay, perfect. All right. Uh we'll go into detail about it later, off the record. But last thing I'll say and then we'll wrap it here. Um basically, guys, my tidbit to you is to just like like kind of pointing off what they said, but I'll add to it. Keep your loved ones close. If it's it's a it's a crazy, weird, un uh unexpected time right now. I see a lot of jokes online about um World War III drafting you and how I treat the drafters, and like if they came to draft me, I would do this. And I personally don't like joking about stuff like that because it's not funny to me. Being drafted is not a not a joke, it's a serious thing. Um I don't think it's gonna come to that. I think we have enough soldiers where and and military-esque people, military environment, you know, people that are involved in the military won't, I don't think it will come to that. But it's a serious time. I think just be aware of what's going on, be connected, don't just trust one news media source, do your research. Don't be lazy, don't do, don't just take whatever's told to you on TikTok and you know, Instagram or wherever the fuck you get your news from.
SPEAKER_04:Or the left or the right. Like, you know, have your own opinion. Form your own opinion. Exactly. Like, thank you for saying that.
SPEAKER_01:But be very, you know, yeah, be very be very informed and check your sources.
SPEAKER_06:For sure.
SPEAKER_01:Be informed, check your sources, right? And and don't be afraid to look into it and find out and form your own opinion because you need we need to be able to we need to be a society that thinks for ourselves.
SPEAKER_06:Exactly.
SPEAKER_01:So I'll leave you with that. A little bit deep, but it's how I feel about it, you know. So a society that thinks for themselves.
SPEAKER_04:I think this society tries to mask all of the evil with goodness, and it's like, no. Like, let's let's get the facts straight. Uh, why is uh Israel and Iran fighting? Like, do your research and maybe and and and reach research other uh news outlets, not just the you know, CNN or Fox or anything like that. Like do your own research because yeah, this this society will have you influence us into going left or right or right or left, and and at the end of the day, they want to keep us divided because as divided we're not as strong.
SPEAKER_06:Yep.
SPEAKER_04:Uh united is better. So yeah, form your own opinion, stand out, and stick to it.
SPEAKER_01:Who cares? Second that.
SPEAKER_04:Who cares?
SPEAKER_01:All right, guys. Well, with that being said, this has been Timeless Talk. We'll see you guys next week. We got two episodes left in the chamber, and then we're gonna take a break. We'll probably give you guys a bonus episode or two. But in the meantime, keep your ears and eyes open because we're gonna be uh announcing street hustle pretty soon, and that's actually the thing I kind of hinted to a few seconds ago or a minute or two ago to Julia here. She doesn't know anything about it yet. That's probably why she has a look on her face.
SPEAKER_06:No, no, no, no, I'm listening.
SPEAKER_01:No, just kidding. But anyway, street hustle is gonna be a thing, guys. It's gonna be uh a multi, it's not just gonna be us interviewing people on the street, but we'll give you more information about it later. But that's kind of the gist of it. There's gonna be more to it than that, but keep your eyes and ears open. Street hustle coming soon. We'll see you guys next week. Got a lot of good things coming. It's good time to stop.
