This Fourth of July, we're igniting fireworks of our own by dissecting their heated back and forth, which was sparked by the provocative tracks, 'First Person Shooter' & 'Like That.' We delve into why J. Cole sees himself as the Muhammad Ali of hip-hop and briefly go over how other key players like Future, Metro Boomin, Rick Ross, Chris Brown, and Quavo fit into this intense saga.
We celebrate Kendrick Lamar's multifaceted artistry & debate the merits of sticking to a signature style versus embracing versatility. Using Chief Keef as a case study, we contrast his approach with those of Kendrick and Drake, before shifting gears to analyze J. Cole's recent fierce features, including his thrilling lyrical feature with Benny the Butcher on 'Johnny P's Caddy.' And welcome back to the conversation that never ends. This is timeless talk. I am your host. Aj, to my right, is your host furious. He's discharged after he put it down already. Oh shit, man, we back. Okay, okay, okay, we're back, we're back, we're back. It's season 5. Yeah and uh, we're gonna do it for the sake, for the sake, of the new season, we'll just put it, we'll call it that. That shit stink huh oh yeah, smell like smell like smell flammable it's definitely some flamm fun bullshit.
Speaker 1:We're back though. Season five timeless talk. Thank you, guys for the hand claps. We're back, we took a break. We're here, though right enough enough tooting our own horn. Welcome back to timeless talk. If you celebrate the fourth of july, happy fourth of july to you, man. This shit really do stink. Oh yeah, that's about bro shit.
Speaker 2:Anyway, it's kind of like a, like a cap gun. You know got the.
Speaker 1:It definitely has like the flambeau cap smell to it. All right, guys. So this is july 4th. Man, we're. We're back, you know, to hang out with y'all, and we're back to bring season five to you guys. We took a break, we. We didn't give you any off-season episodes this time, we just took a much, really well-needed rest these last two months. I'll just say Furious. We're back now, though, and we're going to discuss. In case you've been living under a rock, today's topic is going to be about the most recent hip-hop rap beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake. Really, they were calling it a rap civil war, but I'm sure you agree with me, right, furious? It wasn't no rap civil war no, it was a one-on-one one-on-one.
Speaker 1:That was the main event, right. But then you had people like uh future and metro booming, and then rick ross kind of beefing chris brown versus uh huevo and that bro, he murked him on one song, but we'll get into that later. That's, that's a topic for another. That's a topic for another day because the kendrick drake one is so loaded with different tracks we gotta dissect. There's too much to talk about already there. But yeah, today's topic, guys, today's focus is gonna be really the rap beef between uh drake and kendrick and the one track that cole dropped and why he apologized. We'll get into all that. We'll probably start with that first. But is there anything you want to say to them, bro, before we drop into this? No, not really, that's it. Okay, cool.
Speaker 1:Well, I got this little fancy dodger speaker. If y'all didn't notice, I actually had this speaker in another episode in the past. I brought it back out for this occasion because you know we're gonna, let's go, we're gonna fucking dissect this beef, y'all. I gotta put it right here for y'all to see. And also, actually it's probably not it's being covered, but you see that little dodger speaker right here, right, okay. So if we're following the timeline, guys, first person shooter. Yeah, right, was the first song. I'm not gonna play it, though, because I mean they've all heard it by now, right? I mean you already know what was said in that track. I'm not sure y'all have hip-hop heads out there that follow us know what happened in that song. What was said, cole in particular, when he was saying you know that we're in a league of our own, we're like the big three is it, is it? What do you say? Is it kate aubrey or me? But right now I'm feeling like muhammad ali that's what got started, I think yeah, because really cole was kind of like giving every.
Speaker 1:He wasn't really showing shade but he was saying like, but I feel like I'm the best one right now especially right now.
Speaker 2:he just said muhammad ali, but but Muhammad Ali was the greatest.
Speaker 1:We'll quote the greatest in boxing. He wasn't the greatest, but you know what I mean he caught himself the greatest.
Speaker 2:He wasn't undefeated, though. No, he wasn't. You know what I mean.
Speaker 1:But he caught himself the greatest. That's probably why he used that you know what I'm saying the reference.
Speaker 2:It could be taken out of context, though that's true is very great at his field. You know what I'm saying, but we all know that Muhammad Ali, he wasn't a perfect fighter, he was good.
Speaker 1:No, he wasn't he definitely had losses.
Speaker 2:He was good though.
Speaker 1:He had losses, though You're right.
Speaker 2:Mayweather hasn't lost. I don't think you know what I mean. Of course it's different, obviously, but I'm saying Don't hit that trombone, asshole. He. You know what I'm saying he has love, so he's not. He's not the perfect fighter.
Speaker 1:I respect you, I love you dog.
Speaker 2:But but like, yeah, I digress just to say like that line could have been taken out of context. You know what I'm saying, because he's saying oh, what's it called? We're the big three, like we started a league, but right now I feel like Muhammad Ali, you know, so he, you know what I'm saying, he's like almost still I feel like I'm this person, so it could just be taken out of context. It's it's like a double entendre type of thing no, it definitely is a triple, whatever the fuck people want to say.
Speaker 2:But um, you know, I think that's. It can easily get like misconstrued and like when someone else hears that bro, when you're in a really easily yeah, you're in competition to be the best you know that's what happened with kendrick, you know what'm saying. So I would say if Cole had stayed in it, I think it would have been more interesting, oh for sure, if Cole had stayed in it, like if Drake backed out and Cole stayed in it it would be crazy Bro.
Speaker 1:Because, let's be honest, man, and I want to say this to you guys before we actually get into the tracks I feel like that's really what the world wanted to hear, just because those lyrically as inclined as they are, he's the only. Jay cole is probably the only formidable you know, I'm saying only formidable lyricist out there. I think I people are like no, there's no, but I'm saying like, I'm saying like mainstream though.
Speaker 2:No, okay, mainstream book because yeah, mainstream, yes, but who else is formidable? I'll say this abso. Oh yeah, that's right, abso, for sure you know I think um, I think like okay, the worst, okay, this is in my opinion this would be the craziest scenario. It's like if TDE had like a falling out and all those four started like started, that would be ugly school boys got bars too. That would be like some historical shit but I don't think.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I agree, but I don't think Schoolboy is a battle rapper, though. He has bars, but he can rap though. No, I know he can, he can. No, no, no doubt, dude, they're talented. Absol and Schoolboy, yeah, j-rock, all of them, they're all good bro. All of fucking TD is a problem, I agree, but then again so is Dreamville.
Speaker 2:You got fucking Come.
Speaker 1:He's not touching the abseil bro, what about Kaz or Boss?
Speaker 2:Boss is cool too, Bro. They're all good, they're all dope in their way, but they're not touching TD.
Speaker 1:No, I agree.
Speaker 2:Well, I don't know about that, Cole to me is the most formidable one out of the whole group, of course, 100%.
Speaker 1:Even he's not going to match Kendrick bro, and I want to say this too, because, no, you're right, who Cole?
Speaker 2:Cole's not going to evenly fucking he's not going to evenly.
Speaker 1:But he's probably the best one to face him, though. No, yeah, right now, I think so.
Speaker 2:He's the most formidable one in my opinion. I agree, I could be wrong about that to everyone else, but I think Kendrick's going to.
Speaker 1:That's our opinion.
Speaker 2:That's a timeless opinion opinion, no, that's true, I agree. In our opinion, cole is the most formidable right now. Right for sure, I mean this generation. I feel like there might I mean, who knows, bro, there might be you know someone else out there on the east coast that we don't know about, that that could easily wash them. You know what I'm saying but yeah, possibly we don't know about them.
Speaker 1:No, you're exactly. We don't know about them yet. The world doesn't know about them yet. So but yeah, but aside from that, there was a um, I was gonna say it. I want to put this out there. Kanye West, bro, if I gave out awards like Charlamagne, donkey of the Day, type shit, I'm only going to mention that I'm not even going to play what he made. That shit is a joke, bro. Did you hear how he flipped the like that? I didn't listen to it Because his ass no one gives a shit about. Look man, I'm not going to disrespect the legend. He's in his own right as far as a musician right, but I will say no one gives a fuck about what Kanye West had to say in this situation. Let's be real, right, come on, dog. Why are you trying to shoehorn yourself into a beef you got no part in? I don't understand that.
Speaker 2:Because controversy.
Speaker 1:Look at me.
Speaker 2:I want attention. No, cause, controversy brings traction, bro, like people. Just the fact that people are like talking about it, yeah, it brings attention, I just gave it attention.
Speaker 1:I probably shouldn't have, but it is what it is.
Speaker 2:Yeah so he's just, you know. I mean, I don't know exactly why he's doing it. It could be just for the art, but you know, controversy, like when it comes to business, bro, you're going to see a lot of not a lot of people, but like how certain people just they'll just, let's say, like nowadays, a diss track is a perfect like jumpstart for a fucking album.
Speaker 1:You know what I mean. No, it is for sure.
Speaker 2:Maybe it's always been like that. Who knows, you know what I'm saying. But it's like that that catches people's attention, especially if it's good. And I was like, oh shit, like ago, like coming out, so like as far as, like, as long as they're in, in tune with that, you know, and you let's say, you, you do have something brewing, you know, and you drop it and it's good, like it just helps it you know, any publicity is good publicity, that's true no, I agree with that and I think that kanye is he's one of the few people that actually.
Speaker 2:Yeah, you know, like embodies that, like any person, is good, because bro, remember, like a few years ago bro, he news bro about him, kim, all this shit that's going on, you know what I'm saying, like his mental health, like it was just keeping him in the airwaves, bro.
Speaker 1:He became a billionaire, all kinds of shit. No, that's fair, that's fair.
Speaker 2:You know that's true. He did lose it yeah.
Speaker 1:That's why, look, he used to be my favorite rapper bro, without spending too much time talking about Kanye. What do you think?
Speaker 2:You know what I'm saying. Attention is like the greatest currency.
Speaker 1:No, it is, and you know what I will say. Anybody that knows me and I've said I think it was elementary school actually going into middle school. I remember he was like, yeah, I loved it, bro, college Dropout. He was the shit His first three albums, bro. Fucking.
Speaker 2:Graduation Late.
Speaker 1:Registration In my opinion, late Registration is slept on, bro, that's an underrated album, bro.
Speaker 2:That's the first one.
Speaker 1:No, first one was College Dropout, that's right come on bro it's the second one, and then college dropout, I mean no college dropout first graduation, yeah, then like because you know he registered back in the school shit.
Speaker 2:I mixed it up, shit. I'm just kidding, I got the title right, you did get the title right.
Speaker 1:I'll give you that. You get some points for that. Good job, nah, but uh, like I said, though, man, yeah, so those are the Kanye. I like man with hearing their albums. What I mean by that is, after 808s and Heartbreak, the first four were solid to me. I would actually like the first four on vinyl. I already have the first two albums on vinyl. I'm trying to find graduation, but I just found out recently he never released it on vinyl. Whatever, there's fans that made it on vinyl, so I'll get one of those. Final song, get one of those. But anyway, first four albums were good. Then you have uh uh, life of pablo, which surprised me. I liked it. That was a really good album. That's it, though I don't really give a fuck about anything else. Donda was like whatever to me.
Speaker 2:I don't know who, my god you didn't like uh donda was okay. You didn't like uh twisted, dark, dark fantasy some of this stuff was like it awaits I like it awaits it was it.
Speaker 1:Awaits is hard, that's what I'm saying. The first four 808s came after graduation like dark.
Speaker 2:You like dark twisted that was his fifth album. That one was sick bro. I should say satanic as fuck bro, production wise. Bro. That shit was satanic as fuck, production wise. I'm just saying no production.
Speaker 1:You're right, you can't, I listen, okay, look when I listen to it. As an adolescent I couldn't appreciate it right. But as an adult, now that I sonically am a little more inclined than I was back then, I can appreciate it more. So I do agree with that. Production-wise, that shit's solid as fuck. Anyway, enough about Kanye. Moving on to the topic at hand, now we're into the beef. We're going to go ahead and play Like that. Want to play the whole song for them? I don't really the whole song, to be honest with you.
Speaker 2:That's kind of annoying to me.
Speaker 1:Let's play Kendrick's part. Thank you, yeah, let's just skip to Kendrick's part. Sorry, no shade to Future or Metro Boomin' Metro.
Speaker 2:He made the beat, so I mean Sorry, future.
Speaker 1:Yeah, you didn't like the beat, huh.
Speaker 2:What.
Speaker 1:You didn't like the beat, huh. I remember when I first showed it to you, the song had just dropped me. I got out of work that day. I was dropping him off at his house we're sitting in his little carport and he played it and you made this face. I'll never forget it. But you were like he was listening to it the most judgmental look on your face ever, bro, and I think it grew on you. After a while you're like okay, you know what, that wasn't too bad. Heard it again. You're like this was pretty good.
Speaker 2:I mean, like, what it like progressed to is pretty crazy. Nah, real shit You're right, you're right.
Speaker 1:So it progressed pretty good First listen.
Speaker 6:we kind of always never really, you know accept something for what it is or like it or at least appreciate it. Right here. I mean, uh, I hope them sentiments symbolic. Uh, my temperament bipolar, I choose violence. Okay, let's get it up. It's time for him to prove that he's a problem. Niggas clicking up, but it cannot be legit. No, 40 water, tell him. Uh, yeah, yeah, get up with me, fuck, sneak dishing. First person shooter. I hope they came with three switches. I crash out like fuck, rap this melly meld. If I had to got two T's with me. I'm snatching chains and burning tattoos. It's up. Lost too many soldiers, not the player safe. If he walk around with that sticker, it ain't Andre DK Think I won't drop the location. I still got PTSD. Motherfuck the big three, nigga, it's just big me, nigga. Boom, what I'm really like that.
Speaker 5:And your best work is a light pack.
Speaker 2:Nigga, I was just thinking about this man. What's up the crazy part about it, bro? And this is why I told you that on that fucking day too, I was like, bro, this is bait, bro, and it was. If Drake didn't take the bait, it would have just been this song, it would have been it would have just been this song, and you know what he might have maybe another one, but it wouldn't have, bro. When you don't feedback into it, bro, there's no, there's no reason for it to come back at you well facts.
Speaker 1:You can't fight with yourself. You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2:You can't box yourself, bro people would have, would have, would have, would have talked shit right.
Speaker 2:Oh, they would have you already know but hearing him, he was afraid of that. But hearing it back, bro, hearing how, how it's aged, and hearing to what like it's like progressed to, if he would have just held his tongue and not not even like respond, bro, and just let it, just let it die out, that's true, he would have been able to just drop a single right now just been been chilling, chilling, bro. But the fact that he was finally going back and back and forth, bro, kendrick's better bro.
Speaker 2:He's a better artist overall. You know what I'm saying, Like not saying that Drake is trash. But when it comes to this type of element, bro, battle rapping shit bro. This is not your shit bro, it's not. I'm not saying like Kendrick, bro, he's been ready for this shit. I think you know what I mean.
Speaker 1:He wanted it. This has been built up over the years. You know that right. It all started in 2013 with the control verse.
Speaker 2:But this comes from also, bro. Like see, kendrick's a very good strategist man. He knows his enemy better than the enemy knows himself. So he's like this, like they're gonna take the bait.
Speaker 1:I'm pretty sure, like broke for like for kendrick, it's a win-win okay I throw it out, and he knew his ego wasn't gonna let him if he don't respond I win if he responds, I win, because I
Speaker 3:know what I'm, what I'm gonna come with, but the thing is like that's the truth.
Speaker 2:But if drake just didn't respond, bro, drake would still have a lot of his credibility. A lot of it because, all because, bro, the only bars in that, oh, your best works, a life hack, oh, what's it called? What do you say? First person shooter, three switches, you know like yeah, those bars, like yeah, he had, like he had some very like deep, you know like hard bars, but, bro, this compared to not like us, but in the court of public opinion he would have lost the war already right there.
Speaker 2:But it wouldn't have been like detrimental to where, like he's canceled, true, bro, not like us. Drop bro, bro, not like us compared to like us. He's getting cooked everywhere, bro. Think about it, bro, he's getting cooked.
Speaker 1:I was at a Dodger game. He's getting cooked at LA, Bro. Think about it, bro. Hey, I had that video. I'm going to show you guys that video. We'll cut away to it in a second. I'm a big boy, I'm a big boy.
Speaker 3:I'm a big boy, I'm a big boy, I'm a big boy, I'm a big boy. They not like us, not like us. They not like us, not like us, they not like us. You think the way that?
Speaker 1:you pictures they fuck.
Speaker 3:I think the way that you feel when I stop, you can come down. I don't know what you're saying I don't know last year was called not not like us.
Speaker 2:I know, you know I'm saying the first one, bro, compared to not like us, bro. That the first one is like five percent of not like us not like us every single bar.
Speaker 1:This shit cannot be undone now.
Speaker 2:So bro, it's not like us, bro. Every single bar was like a fucking guillotine bro, you know what I mean. Like you're just taking headshot after headshot after headshot, like he's just unloading on this for like fucking, like John Wick bro.
Speaker 1:No, for sure.
Speaker 2:Just clip back. You know what I'm saying, and that's why, bro. And that was he should have just not taken the bait.
Speaker 1:I agree, I agree it was okay, so you're right. So, speaking of being pressured into the bait, jay cole was pressured into the bait. I'm only going to talk about this because exactly, would you agree? He was, and I'm only going to show this track. It was conflicted and you can hear the confliction in his voice but then it's like why'd you do it bro?
Speaker 1:you know and I agree it kind of disappointed me, because anybody that knows me knows that now jay cole has been my favorite artist since I was a senior in high school, 2010, when he dropped sideline story that's he's my favorite rapper, right. I've loved his lyrics since then. So, as a cole fan, as him being my favorite rapper, this was this was definitely a misstep. In my opinion. It was. It was he let me down. When he did it, I was kind of like I wouldn't say let me down, but he disappointed me. He let you down, bro.
Speaker 2:He disappointed, he disappointed me stop being nice about it bro you fucking.
Speaker 1:Let me down, motherfucker. What the fuck is wrong with you, cole. Nah, but, but I mean hey you said that bro so what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna play for y'all that and again, this is also good. I want this to appeal to everybody that knows what's going on, but also to those that don't know what's going on. I'm gonna show you guys uh, you guys Cole's diss track, which he was pressured into doing because he even said he said it, though he said that he's like oh, what you going to do, cole?
Speaker 2:And the whole world wanted blood. They wanted blood. He describes it. Hold on Saying pressured.
Speaker 1:And they means that you're right. And I mean he kind of gave it away too, like if you listen in, we'll get into that more in depth after we show it to the viewers. I haven't seen it, but when I, when I show you guys the apology, you're going to notice that he kind of let it slip a little bit when he was like, after I saw the reception and how people were talking about it, I felt bad in my soul. Why is it? Because no one received the disc correct. No one received it the way you wanted to.
Speaker 1:I got kind of mid. I didn't even take that shit down.
Speaker 2:I should have came at him a little harder than that, because imagine, imagine that there was like an overwhelming like bro damn.
Speaker 1:But the thing is, bro, then he probably would have received it differently, but then again the story goes, but the stuff he was saying, bro, some of the claims, some of the parts of the dish, they just weren't factual well, let's go ahead and begin to get into this beef.
Speaker 1:We get carried on, right? Yeah, I'm gonna stop it at certain bars, if that's cool with you, to kind of discuss it. We'll do it that way. You good with that? Because I'm not by now. You guys have, I'm pretty sure by now, like I said, unless you were living under a rock, I'm sure y'all have heard these tracks uninterrupted plenty of times, right? So I'm gonna go ahead and play this one and stop it when I feel like a bar sticks out to me. All right, let's do it, yeah.
Speaker 7:Turn it up. Yeah, Turn the vocal up. Lightwork Like it's PWC. It's a cold world. Keep the heat under your seat. I got a phone call. They say that somebody dissing you want some attention. It come with extensions. My dog like say the word. He on bullshit, he itching. I'm putting so much work in these streets. He got pension. I told him chill out. I look half a henchman. If shots get to popping, I'm the one doing the clenching. I came up in the Ville so I'm good when it's tension. He still doing shows but fell off like the simpsons. Your first shit was classic. Your last shit was tragic. Your second shit put niggas to sleep but they gassed it. Your third shit was massive and that was your prime. I was trailing right behind and I just now hit mine. Now I'm front of the line with a comfortable lead, high running. So I got it. Now he want something with me. Well, he caught me at the perfect time.
Speaker 1:Jump up and see, say right there. Okay, so that was the whole referral to the whole tracks. Like you know, your first one was was a classic. You said no, no, he said your last. Yeah, your first one was a classic, your last one was tragic. Second, one was slept on the second one was was was um.
Speaker 2:The second one put I'm gonna say the n-bomb to sleep, put people to sleep, but, but they gassed it.
Speaker 1:Your third one was massive, and that's when you were in your prime damn he's like. Then I was like yeah, damn, he's talking about damn yeah, exactly. I mean, there's some relevance there. I agree, bro. I feel like damn was his last best album, in my opinion, bro. I'm not gonna lie to you, mr Morale and the Big Steppers man, that shit was.
Speaker 2:I don't know, do you ever like read lyrics?
Speaker 1:Of course I do.
Speaker 2:I'm talking about, like I mean like go into the track and read what they're saying.
Speaker 1:Yeah, okay, I love lyrics.
Speaker 2:So, it's like I'll say, man, some albums bro, you just gotta listen to it bro, and if it just doesn't resonate with you, it doesn't resonate, and that's the case sometimes, man, because I mean, if I'm going to be, words are being said.
Speaker 1:I will say this about kendrick most of the time rarely do I ever say, man, that shit was weak as fuck. Lyrically, you you're probably never gonna hear me say that about him, man, ever so that man is a master with the fucking pen.
Speaker 1:That's just the reality right, let's be honest this man does it like it's a second nature, probably doing his damn sleep if he wanted to. That's how good he is, and he continues to back that up and prove that shit right. So, aside from that known fact to the world, I just think that sometimes the production is not always there. For me, man, I'm like this is not going to captivate me enough to even give a shit what the song's about. But that's why I've learned sometimes you got to get out of that bullshit ass mind state and really listen. To listen, like you said, because then you're gonna miss some shit that's meant to be there, and that's true. That's like you were like oh, skip, skip, skip. Man, that wasn't, that was a nomic, I just played through cause you didn't give it a chance. Man, it's not meant. And, to be honest, that last album that he made was not intended for anybody to be like let's bump that shit on the way to the club. It's not for that, I mean you might listen to it while you're cleaning.
Speaker 2:The thing is too, bro, like what I. What I like about kendrick, bro, is he shows versatility. Yeah, it's not because, bro you is. It sucks being grooved into just one box. Oh, you're a rapper like he. You know what I'm saying. He has other talents, bro, you know what I'm saying like. So, when you hear all those like um the uh production on an album, bro, I heard that he had a lot of input on that shit, bro, like he, like he like executively, like producers, like hey no for sure, he's definitely involved.
Speaker 2:I want to hear that he wants to so you're not just hearing the lyrics, bro, like it's like he's actually influenced that no doubt, to a great degree you know what I'm saying. So no, yeah, I agree so that, so that that's why it's like I think people, when they, when, once they realize that is, it's gonna hit different, because when you're just looking at him like, oh, like, yeah, he's a rapper or whatever like that he's made. Now he just, he just sounds different, bro, that's, that's. He's an artist no, for sure think about it, bro.
Speaker 2:Okay, chief keith. Right, would you ever think about chief keith? Sorry, sorry to just to just you know name drop um to name a chief keith, but it's like you. Would you ever think about him singing?
Speaker 4:no, no because you put him in a box already I'm sorry in a box, but look, think about it, he's already in a box, I know, but look, think about it, bro.
Speaker 2:He's already in a box and he continues to put stuff out that puts him in that box.
Speaker 1:No, that's true.
Speaker 2:So if you're not stepping out of that box, bro, you're always going to be this. No doubt You're not going to be.
Speaker 1:No, I see what you're saying.
Speaker 2:I agree. That's how you branch out and you show you know what I'm saying like you can do anything. That's why Drake has the fucking like Caribbean voice and shit. You know that? Shit, the whole dance don't get started on his.
Speaker 1:We'll get to Drake. We'll get to Drake, but not. I know what you mean that wasn't a.
Speaker 2:That wasn't a poor example, because he does. He is versatile too no, he is he definitely is. No, no, he definitely sonically is no, I, you're down to something with that. It's a fucking science, bro. No for sure, yeah.
Speaker 1:Yeah, you're right, you're right. Let's not get too sidetracked, though, man. Back to this, though. So what? Cole was saying he's got something like now I'm front of the line.
Speaker 2:He's like I'm going for the comfortable lead.
Speaker 1:But now that I got it. Now he wants, bro? He was killing every track that he was that Cole was on recently.
Speaker 2:No, what was the lead, though? Cause he's saying I'm front of the line with a comfortable lead. That okay. That means lead singles, that means albums, that means sales maybe I don't think he meant it that way was it? Was it culturally? No, I think he was.
Speaker 1:I think he was that, and I was also him barring up. Let's be honest, man if you really pay attention to cole. He's been barring the fuck out of everything he's been on as of lately.
Speaker 2:Okay, everything you're supposed to.
Speaker 1:Exactly you're supposed to but he's doing it with like a fire intensity where he's killing.
Speaker 2:His mission is to murder whoever the fuck he's on a beat with. But cole is not the only dope rapper out. I'm not saying that I know, but I'm not saying that.
Speaker 1:I'm just saying he's talking about himself. He's not giving a shit about anybody else though, and if they pay him for a feature. You're going to get fucked on your own song. I feel that that's what he's doing, bro. You're going to come get bodied on your own track. He doesn't know that.
Speaker 2:Have you heard Johnny P's Caddy?
Speaker 1:Yeah, bro, he murked him no no, yes, no, they're evenly matched on that shit, bro. No, they're not.
Speaker 3:Yes, sir, disagree, listen well, we're gonna play later. We'll play later. No, it's not about that right now, bro hey I'm sure ben 10 would agree with me.
Speaker 1:No, no, no, hold up, hold up.
Speaker 2:Check this bro look at me wrong. Bro jaco has very. Bro jaco has very. He is a very good storyteller. He has very good like lines that fucking like like describes it. When I was born, the lightning was flying, the sparks were flying. That shit was epic as fuck man, no of course it's very descriptive, but bro Benny's from this shit too, and when you see how Benny articulates his shit, bro, his shit hits different.
Speaker 1:I'm not going to sell him short His shit hits Bro.
Speaker 2:I'm telling you, bro, his shit is fucking different bro.
Speaker 8:Yeah bro, I would never say he brought the heat?
Speaker 2:Fuck yeah, he did. But, he's not murking Benny on his own shit.
Speaker 1:Nobody is bro. That's debatable, but I agree. I fuck with.
Speaker 2:Benny. I fuck with fucking Griselda, bro, I do too.
Speaker 1:Bro, I like them too. Hey, I like them too. But All right, I get it All right?
Speaker 2:No, don't make me have to smoke this nigga, that's actually half right.
Speaker 1:You hear what he just said. The dissing part, yeah, you only have. He's like you only have one hard, only have one hard verse every 12 months or so. Then he's like it is true, every 12 months. When the fuck do you hear from Kendrick? Bro, I've seen it coming, he averaging one hop, it's like every 30 months or something. If he wasn't Bro, he's not wrong Every 30 months, no. But he was like if he wasn't dissing, we wouldn't be discussing. Hold up, that's fucking true.
Speaker 2:No, no, no, no, no, it's context.
Speaker 1:Pull up Kendrick's track list. I know, I know, but I'm just being real that's his opinion. That's not fact no, think about no no hold on.
Speaker 2:Let's make devil an advocate, bro, because look, let's just say pull up Kendrick's track, let's pull up J Cole side by side. Let's rank every single track bar for bar who's in? Our bar, who's no?
Speaker 1:in some songs. I feel like it's one, then the other, it's the latter you know what I mean? It's both.
Speaker 2:That's fair, hold on. Someone should get every Kendrick track and every J Cole track and fucking compare them bar for bar.
Speaker 1:Maybe we'll do that shit one day.
Speaker 2:It'll be a hell of a long episode.
Speaker 8:Hell yeah.
Speaker 1:Let's get through this. Come on, you know what I'm saying, yeah.
Speaker 7:Nothing, that's bars too. That was hard.
Speaker 7:Oh, who's calling me Sorry about that. I got mixed feelings about these fucking rap niggas. It's over for that cap, the official cap, pillars to six. We don't act niggas, we get at niggas. Shoot a nigga. Lights out. Yeah, my dog. Stat filler. Stat stuff is triple double. Get your ass black duffel. Body bag, body bag, body bag, cold bag, body bag, cold world. You're instructed for Pilates class. Get a nigga stretched. Get my feel of disrespect. Your arms might be too short to box with the God who lives his life without the passes up on the knee.
Speaker 2:That was hard. That's the shit I like that shit.
Speaker 1:Get something real about it bro.
Speaker 2:Stop like, bro. Just you know what I'm saying. Tell them how you really feel, bro. You heard that shit.
Speaker 1:You heard that right.
Speaker 2:I like this part. I like this part, the triple-double. I like this part of the song.
Speaker 1:That was hard, he said. He's like your arm's too short to box with the guy. Let's get disrespectful bro.
Speaker 7:He got a little right here. This is where he got disrespectful. Oh, oh. But I'm not gonna lie. I'm powered up for real that shit would feel like SWAT and I'm fly four albums in 12 years. Nigga, I can divide shit. If this is what you want, I'm in this is a Jay-Z reference.
Speaker 1:Right there, bro. He said that shit to Nas. That was a diss. Four years, what do you say? Four albums in 12 years I can divide. That was a Jay-Z line that he used against naz. Okay, that was clever and that was actually a true fact. See that, I respect that. He's a student of hip-hop, bro. That's cool. That's dope as fuck. I was smart, right. He used that against kendrick because, it's true, kendrick's only dropped like four albums in 12 years, bro. So the math made sense of your life.
Speaker 2:But also in the track he used jay-z's line to say that was clever no, it was clever, however, however, however I can divide he's only got like five albums however however, he's only got one more album in here, so why are you talking shit, bitch? How did?
Speaker 1:how did kendrick's albums do? Uh, great, they all did. I mean, both of them did good though I don't think it's I don't think it's a question about that, though I think more so. The disc wasn't really that. It wasn't how well they did it's that you wait so motherfucking long to get with shit the thing.
Speaker 2:But no, but, no, but that's that. But think, bro kendrick's. That's for his albums, bro.
Speaker 1:He's still been dropping music no, for sure, no, no doubt yeah it's. It's clever wordplay it is that this part is probably the best part of the track, right, would you agree?
Speaker 2:I like before, when he was getting like more disrespectful, yeah, then he backed off that because the thing is he, he was disrespectful.
Speaker 1:Then he backpedaled a little bit.
Speaker 2:He's like calm down, like the thing is, bro, like well, because his heart wasn't in this shit, bro.
Speaker 1:Had his heart been in it, he probably would have been disrespectful. Why'd you do it? I know we'll get to that a lie.
Speaker 7:I'm powering up for real. That shit would feel like swatting a fly. Four albums in 12 years. Nigga, I can divide shit. If this is what you want. I'm indulging in violence. Put pictures in my home, aim the chrome at your eyelids, fly pebbles at your dome. We, the Stone Temple Pilots, this is merely a warning. Shot the back, niggas, down Back in the town where they whipping, working, trafficking, pounds my jack jumping bout a rapper making blasphemous sounds, switching sides like the tassel on the cap and the gown. I'm fully loaded, nigga. I can drop two classics right now, let me can drop two classics right now.
Speaker 2:Let me chill out conductor fall off on the way nigga. So I think, bro, just hearing it, bro, there's bro the stuff that kendrick was gonna have, bro but then you already said this is just a warning shot.
Speaker 1:He was this is not a full force. I wasn't. I wasn't giving you a right hook. This is a jab.
Speaker 2:Hearing it now it's a jab hearing a number versus hearing them, bro, he wouldn't have outwrapped him, bro he wouldn't know, but but I.
Speaker 1:But I promise you, this would have been a lot closer of a fight no, then it would.
Speaker 2:Then when fucking it would have been great, gave him. But, bro, what can? What can j cole say about kendrick? Bro? What can they really say about him?
Speaker 1:then again you can say the same thing. So the whole thing with this supposedly right School boy Q reached out to him after this happened, literally the day I came out like stay out of it.
Speaker 1:No, he told him that and he's like you got to understand something. I was actually with K-Dot the other day. I was talking to him. He heard it and he's like I really don't want that's my boy. I don't like the motherfucker he's next to, I don't fuck with him. I got love for Cole, but I mean, if he really wants it, he can get it too. I love him, but hey, bro, you want to step in the ring too? I'll fight you too. That's kind of what school was telling him. And I'm paraphrasing guys, this is what I heard. Okay, take it with a grain of. He doesn't want you to do that because he doesn't want to do that to you or you. You know I'm saying you two to go out of damage collateral damage, exactly because he has love for you.
Speaker 1:He has nothing but love for you, want to see you successful. He has nothing. That not saying that he'll dismantle your career, but he'll definitely put a. He doesn't want to hurt your career at all in any way, shape or form. So cole took it as you know what you're right fuck it, man. It's not really worth it in the end because I didn't feel right. He put in and I heard it supposed to be. He told him back like that's, that's real, because I I didn't. Honestly, I was troubled, I was conflicted, even writing the shit. I did it. Yeah, I know I put it out, I know I did all that, but honestly, like the whole way there and I should have just listened to myself because it didn't sit right in my soul and that's why he went on stage to tell everybody that. Because he was like fuck man, I'm over here dissing somebody I really fuck with. I don't even mean half the shit I said in that song, I'm not saying it justifies it.
Speaker 2:You can tell he held back a lot. Oh yeah, not held back. What the fuck could he say?
Speaker 1:well, it's not just that I, he didn't, he. He kept saying, like if you catch it, it was more so like I don't want to do this, but if he really, if he really wants to smoke, I'm gonna give to give him the smoke Bro J Cole.
Speaker 2:he's not washing Kendrick on any day.
Speaker 1:Well, I'm not saying that. Bro, I'm not saying look man from a close perspective. I'm not saying he's going to fucking wipe the floor with him.
Speaker 2:He's not even going to put up a fight.
Speaker 1:He'll give him a fight. Hell yeah, he will.
Speaker 2:But I'm saying it's going to be in vain. Bro, his heart wasn't in it, right?
Speaker 1:yeah, he was pressured by it, but you kind of hear it in the song too. But it's like his delivery gave that away too.
Speaker 2:But with the stuff he was saying, bro, it's gonna point more towards his opinion of it. Bro, it's not cause, it's not factual. You know what. I'm saying it's like, but before saying you know, tragic, classic, all that stuff, bro, yeah, the first one was a classic no yeah but like, that's why, when, like all that, like ego gets involved, man bro, she gets fucked up, bro, because it does you start thinking about how you feel and shit about shit.
Speaker 2:You know I'm saying and it's like it's not the reality, man it's not I just think that if jayco would have just just stayed bro, because the thing is, bro on a euphoria, this will go back at jayco too. Oh, he took a few jabs. Yeah, remember, he's like no.
Speaker 1:But that one we're gonna tell right now we're gonna get to the fucking manly line, bro yeah like jayco, you are not forgotten yeah, I heard what you did too obviously I heard.
Speaker 2:I heard seven minutes real. It's like he already did. I heard seven minutes.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and and that's why he was like, but cole did tell him that in the apology. He was like if you got to respond, he's like. Yeah, I hope he doesn't feel no type of way. I'm gonna respond.
Speaker 1:No, I know, I know, but he already said he's like look man, he's like I hope he doesn't feel no type of way personally, because you know I love you dog, but if you feel like you got to say something, he even told him he knew. But when it comes to this rap shit, go ahead, give me your best shot. I got my chin out. I respected that because it's like I get it. I understand the sport too. I shouldn't have even done this, but I did it. So what's out there is done. If you want to take a swing at me, fine, go ahead. Do what you got to do. I don't give a shit anymore. I'm I'm choosing to not give a fuck, so I'm going to go about my career. He's like I like getting paid Basically. He's like I'm just going to be like whatever you know that shit right now.
Speaker 2:A hundred percent? No way, cause he has, he has more like respect too, but I don't think, I definitely don't think he would have won, but it would have been a more interesting fight.
Speaker 1:No, for sure. Way more interesting bout, way more interesting back and forth, for sure.
Speaker 2:Because, like I don't know man, I just I'm like my thing about it. I that you don't believe this shit why would you even go?
Speaker 1:I agree, you're going to let your group pressure you.
Speaker 1:And I only want to say a few more things in this because I want to do it for time-consuming reasons. I don't want to be too long on it, but I think that he and I want to hear your take on it too. I think that, again, the pressure I know what you're saying, you're your own man, you your own man. You could absolutely say what you want to say, but I think he was conflicted because he he only what he's like. I know it's good for hip-hop, I don't really want to do this shit, but I know it's good for hip-hop. Everybody's pushing me to do it. He says in the apology everybody, the world wanted blood. They're like what you gonna do? Call. Even his own fucking camp was telling him that accountability, man, you know you, gotta you know you gotta respond man you know you gotta respond what you gonna do, cole.
Speaker 1:You tell him shit like that, like it's like all right, bro well what the fuck?
Speaker 2:I mean, I ain't no bitch. You're the head of dreamville, bro, not?
Speaker 1:yeah, that's true that's true, I mean, but then again, bro, you got, you got to also put yourself in his shoes, like I mean, you're in that under that type of you know scrutiny and look at that, look at in that power who's the boss? Bro, I get that, I understand that and you right, that could have been a boss move. Like, I'm not going to do it, I'm not going to partake in this, because I don't.
Speaker 1:Yeah, you're right. All he had to say was I don't, that's my boy and y'all should know You're signed to me. You should know how mean his relationship is. And if you want to think that's true, none of them gotta feel that shit. Yeah, that's true, none of them were in that we're in that spotlight. They didn't drop diss tracks yeah, you're right, that's a good point, but he should have just made his own decision. I agree, and I could have avoided this altogether, because I.
Speaker 2:I respect jay, I focus his music, bro, but but when I heard his I was like, bro, this doesn't seem authentic, bro, because you've-. Everybody knew. That too You've produced with. Kendrick. You've rapped with him already. Y'all sound good together. You know what I'm saying, and everybody felt that too.
Speaker 1:Everybody wanted that joint album that they were making together, bro, everybody wanted to it. Very well, still could happen too. They still fuck with each other. They talked Supposedly. They've talked several times since the beef and shit. So I think they're squared away. They're good. I don't think they have any issues with each other. Maybe we'll still get that in the future, right?
Speaker 2:Well, Kendrick has the leverage. Y'all gonna have to weigh in on him.
Speaker 1:Yep, moving on though, here's Drake Drake's response to uh, like that, like that like that like that. Pushups is here, is here is pushups by Drake. I like pushups. If you want to pause it, you can. I'll be right here for both of us to touch.

Yeah, we need a verse for the swifties top say drop.
Speaker 2:You better drop and give them 50s, yeah maroon five needs a verse you better make it witty, because he, because he works with the like taylor, swift, he does that's basically drake shot at him, saying that you can't never be pop like me, but you're trying to.
Speaker 1:So you're trying to by having features. I do it by myself. I do it myself. You need them.
Speaker 5:Yeah, that's funny damn, you're gonna feel the aftermath, bro. Like your label, you're in the scope right now and you gonna feel the aftermath of what I damn, you gonna feel the aftermath, bro.
Speaker 2:Like your label, you're in the scope that I like that one.
Speaker 1:That was a good one that was. I can give it to him. When that was a barge got you wiped down.
Speaker 5:Travis got you wiped down. Savage got you wiped down like your label. Boy. You in the scope right now and you gonna feel the aftermath of what I write down. I'm at the top of the mountain, so you tight. Now just add this talk. Oh, that was dope though.
Speaker 1:When he was like. He's like, what's a prince to a king? That's a son. Yeah, oh, because he always said Mike Jackson. Yep, hey man, I got to give it to him.
Speaker 5:He did some little jabs back, bro, some good ones too. The other one yeah, 20 v 1. Nigga. What's a prince to a king? He a son. Nigga. Get more love in a city that you find, nigga, metro. Ay, drop your little midget ass, better fuck it Ay.
Speaker 1:Whitney, drop and give me 50. Ay, he didn't have to mention his wife. That's where he started getting personal Whitney. That statement 300 was probably like okay, let's do exhibition.
Speaker 2:Wait, what's Harry Whitney he?
Speaker 1:got some good shit. He's like wait, wait, wait, what Play that shit back, hold on a second. He went there. All right, drop and give me 50. Drop and give me 50. Niggas really got me out here talking like I'm 50. Niggas really got me out here.
Speaker 2:Every song that made it on the track spent that little check. You gotta stay up out my business, nigga. Shout out to the hooper that be busting out the gritty. We know why. You mad, nigga. I ain't even tripping all that little heart.
Speaker 1:He's talking about John Morant, yeah so it's more than just Kendrick in this song, but he's still the main. Main course was, and so I said I tried to keep it PG, cause it was like you know, yeah, he wanted to be about PG Lang and no one else Kendrick, but then he still just wanted a shot, so he took a shot at everybody else too. Champagne tripping.
Speaker 5:He is not fucking easin' up Nigga callin' top to see if top wanna piece it up. Top, wanna piece it up, top wanna piece it up. Nah pussy, now you on your own. When you speakin' up, you done rode deep to this. You not fuckin' deep enough Beggin' cops to knock boy. You not fuckin' beatin' us Numbers wise, I'm outta here. You not fuckin' creepin' up Money wise, I'm outta here. You not fuckin' this beat is so hard, bro. That shit makes you want to do that, though, bro you know this is good man.
Speaker 1:I don't really got much to say about that.
Speaker 2:That was a good response push us was the fucking best one out of all of them.
Speaker 1:You think so? Yeah, I think Family Matters was pretty good too, though.
Speaker 2:Oh, the one that it goes into.
Speaker 1:Yeah, no, I thought it was good.
Speaker 2:I thought they both were Push-Ups. I like Push-, I was just like okay.
Speaker 1:All right, man. Now this next one right here. This is TaylorMadeFreestyle, because Kendrick had not replied yet. Okay, so mind you, kendrick hasn't put anything else on the board yet. Right, it's just so far. It's just like that verse.
Speaker 2:John, John, John.
Speaker 1:John, this one is TaylorMadeFreestyle. He pretended to be Tupac, then he pretended to be Snoop Dogg and then he came in and solidified his verse like it was him. But we'll see, man. This track got a lot of hate and love, but I'm not gonna lie to you. I like the beat to it. It's very hit, very west coast and it's cool. I liked it. But I don't really it is distasteful that he you know he used AI and shit in that way. I guess I like the beat, though I don't really it is distasteful that he you know he used AI and shit in that way. I guess that was trash. I like the beat, though. The beat was cool. Let's play it for y'all. Here we go. That shit was ass, ass, ass ass.
Speaker 2:I ain't going to use the fucking AI, bro. Ai, what the fuck was that, huh AI. What the fuck is that? Who are you? What is?
Speaker 1:that I don't know what that was. All right, shit. All right, here we go, man. He said AI Shut the fuck up.
Speaker 8:Illuminati Dance rise again. You can see it in my eyes again. You like the beat, I like the beat. I like the beat. What? What are your thoughts?
Speaker 1:Bro, that's so, corny bro, he's talking shit about himself too, though Low key the thing is, bro, look Using Tupac's voice, but with Drake's flow, bro. I know I agree, bro.
Speaker 2:When I heard it, bro, hold up Bro. When I heard it, bro, the first time, I could not listen to it. No, I'm like, bro, this is not Pac.
Speaker 1:Because Pac wouldn't rap like that. No, I agree that was a big misstep on that part. No that bro.
Speaker 2:Snoop doesn't rap like that either bro.
Speaker 1:No, they don't.
Speaker 2:I'm like, bro, you could have just did all that yourself.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:And it would have more impact.
Speaker 1:You would have man. No, I see what you're saying. He could have thought that, oh, let me the two west coast legends. I'm gonna go ahead and say this yeah, you gotta admit it was creative. It was corny. It was corny, but it was creative. Though, corny, as fuck bro, it was corny, but it was creative bro, but just hear me out, fraudulently creative bro I agree.
Speaker 1:But but hear me out, my whole thing with it is it's creative in a sense, where I get the intention. It didn't land. Right, it didn't land. But the whole intention of it was I'm gonna fuck with them mentally. Now I'm gonna go ahead and mess with them in a funny way. It's mental, but it's also a funny jab, like I'm gonna use your heroes against you. These motherfuckers passed you the torch, so I'm gonna use them. You know that was the intention, but it's like I'm gonna mock you. I'm gonna mock you with the people you call a hero because you still haven't done shit, you still haven't responded to me yet, so I'm gonna clown your ass a little bit using their voice.
Speaker 2:That was the joke he meant I could tell he meant it to be a joke, but it was.
Speaker 1:You know what I'm saying but it was ill, it was illy, it landed illy yeah it was shit.
Speaker 2:It was it landed crap. It was never gonna land. Yeah, it was like it was a week of 10, bro, bro like I said, that's true good thing about it, bro. Bro, you have to. You have to be relying on AI, bro. Like bro, we know your flow.
Speaker 1:Well, let's just blast through this one real quick. If we take it off, you want to play the rest of it, or no? Oh, like that.
Speaker 2:Go ahead, I'm going to play it.
Speaker 1:No, you got more. Go ahead, no man, I'm playing.
Speaker 2:Go ahead, my thoughts complete.
Speaker 1:Oh, no bro.
Speaker 2:Take a sip.
Speaker 1:He's like fuck you then AJ.
Speaker 2:Motherfucker.
Speaker 1:That's your Pac.
Speaker 2:Drake. This is Pac Drake. Right here, two Drake.
Speaker 8:Here you go.
Speaker 1:I heard he likes young girls, you see, it's almost like he was trying to beat them to it. You heard that shit. He said what?
Speaker 2:did. He say Call him a bitch for me, yeah. He say Call him a bitch for me, yeah.
Speaker 1:He said call him a bitch for me. Pac wouldn't even talk that way. I don't even know. Pac. I didn't even get to know Pac and I know he wouldn't talk that way.
Speaker 8:But it was funny though, because you're hearing Drake, but then he Talk about him liking young girls.
Speaker 1:That's a gift from me. You catch that shit. He's like. He's like call him a bitch for me. Then he was like call, tell him, tell him, talk about how he likes young girls. That's a gift from me. I heard it on the button podcast, so it's gotta be real. I was kind of like when I heard that I was like he. I was kind of like when I heard that I was like he. That's Drake trying to get ahead of it. Which button podcast?
Speaker 2:Joe buttons. Kendrick wasn't on button. No he's saying that they were discussing. Okay.
Speaker 1:Yes, bro, he was. He was saying that Joe button discussed how Drake liked young girls or how he's into young girls. He's saying supposedly you heard them discuss that on the Button podcast, so in a way he's mocking. Joe Button too. He's saying he's incredible, like you're not, you're not credible. You're over here saying shit. Basically he's mocking him.
Speaker 8:I heard it on the Button podcast. So it must be true. That's what he's saying. Talk about him like a young girl. That's a kid for me. Heard it on the Budden podcast. It's got to be true. They told me the spirit of Machiavelli is alive and the nigga under five foot five. So it's got to be you. I would beat the whole fucking game.
Speaker 1:I like how I'll give Drake that.
Speaker 2:He'd give me the fucking little jab.
Speaker 1:It's funny, you got to admit. It's almost like damn, you're giving him underhanded jabs like his homie would tell him that shit, there's supposed to be a homie talking to him. So I like how kendrick, I mean how drake, I'll give him that it's funny, right, because he's like he was giving him jazz, almost like I'm talking shit about this light-skinned bitch boy, ken, from canada like yeah, but you're short, but he's like but you're short, you're five foot, so you got this like.
Speaker 1:He's like okay, I'm talking shit about him, but I'm also talking shit about you at the same time, you know right dog, have my fucking shirt off in the house of blues.
Speaker 8:Okay, you gotta fuck this nigga girl. He gotta get abused. All that shit about burning tattoos, he's not amused. That's jail talk for real thugs. You gotta be. You gotta leave this motherfucker broken and bruised before we really lose. You asked for the smoke. Now I've seen you too busy for the smoke. I won't lie to people confused. Now you about to give this shit another week and fall back to home. Girl, but running up is up. I would've refused For these industry relationships. She not in your shoes. You supposed to be the boogie man. Go do what you do, unless this is a moment that you tell us it's not really you. In that case, there's nothing left to say.
Speaker 9:I just pants at the snow and that's you what the fuck you really got to do. We passed you the torch at the House of Blues and now you got to do some dirty work. You know how to move right, right, I know you've never been to jail or was jumpsuits and shower shoes Never shot, nobody, never stabbed, nobody, never did nothing violent and no one is the homies that empower you. But still you got to show this fucking eye of who's boss on the West. Now's the time to really make a power move, because right now it's looking like you're writing out the game plan on how to lose, how to bark up the wrong tree and then get your head.
Speaker 1:Snoop would never talk that way either, but you know what he's saying. He's like now it's making it look like you're showing yourself how to you know how to lose. You're barking up the wrong tree.
Speaker 2:He would never talk about drake like that he his workplace, not like that, I know, but that's besides the point though it's supposed to be disrespectful.
Speaker 1:That's the point. You know it's, it's too much he gets.
Speaker 4:He did too much he could yeah, I just kept to him bro and it would have had more. I agree, I'm sorry that shit would be left.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that's the truth. He just came out of the back Like he's like On his own track On his own voice.
Speaker 2:Yeah, man Me featuring me.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah, that's true.
Speaker 9:Like shut the fuck up, bro. You're cool game, but are you out of moves that you know? The dog never fucking doubted you, but right now I seem like you posted up without a clue what the fuck you about to do.
Speaker 5:Yeah, that's the truth. I'm definitely about to come around the land gang and let my fucking foul move, shitting on you niggas from a whole different altitude, high up in the sky, like I'm Howard Hughes. The first one really only took me an hour or two. The next one is really about to bring out the coward in you. But now we gotta wait a fucking week, cause Taylor Swift is your new top and if you about to drop, she gotta approve. This girl really about to make you act like you, not in a feud. She tell a major schedule.
Speaker 5:Where ain't you out of the loop? Hate all you corporate industry puppets. I'm not in the mood. I love it when you niggas talk loose like I'm not in the room, since, like that, your tone changed a little. You not as enthused. How are you not in the booth? It feel like you kinda removed. You tryna let this shit die down. Nah, nah, nah, not this time. Nigga you following through. I guess you need another week to figure out how to improve. What the fuck is taking so long? We waiting on you. The rest of y'all are definitely involved. Y'all getting it too Soon.
Speaker 5:As you get the courage to drop, I'm out on the loose On the loose. Yeah, shout out to Taylor Swift, biggest gangster in the music game right now. You know I move my album when she drop. I said that already. You know she bout to make me wanna do a millie rock on your head top. She got the whole PG Lang on mute like that Beyonce challenge. I was quiet for the weekend. I know you in that NY apartment struggling right now. I know it In the notepad doing lyrical gymnastics.
Speaker 5:My boy, you better have a motherfucking quintuple entendre on that shit, some shit, I don't even understand Shit better be crazy.
Speaker 2:We're waiting on you. Seal his own fate with that shit. Yeah, he's Honestly bro. He could have just yeah. He could have Bro that beat. No, you're right, bro, that beat was dope. He could have done so much more withI fucking Snoop bro yeah he fucked that up, tupac and Snoop bro. They're one of my favorite artists too, but to waste the AI with your flow. You just took away Like you could have made that shit so much more hip-hop, like you could have just done so much more with that beat bro.
Speaker 1:Like, just so much more. I agree Way more, but he didn't do it and I'm like oh, but see, that's why bro. That was a misstep right there.
Speaker 2:Bro, this move right here. Like this is after push-ups right, this move right here. Bro, this is when it just shows he was trying to do back-to-back. It just shows that he's.
Speaker 1:You were trying to back-to-back the wrong man first of all, and now it also missed it. It missed the impact.
Speaker 2:you said that he thought it was going to make, but taking that route it just shows that you're out of ideas, bro. Oh, 100%, let me go AI with your idols, like okay.
Speaker 1:He was trying to be clever but, like you said, it didn't land. It's not?
Speaker 2:them, they would never feature you on a track again. Anyways, exactly.
Speaker 1:But I really think that's the point of it though.
Speaker 2:No, no, but you see what I'm saying, bro, look okay it's like, okay, imagine, this is gonna be a very rudimentary example. Okay, it might sound retarded to some people, like, hey, man, he don't know what he's talking about. Okay, it's like. It's like. It's like a ball of fire talking to to a body of water saying I'm gonna burn you, the elements don't match, it's not gonna work it's not gonna work like bro like tupac the physicality you know what I'm saying?
Speaker 2:The AI, it's just bro, that would never happen. It would never happen. So it's like, even if he'd given us a fantasy of it, it's like, bro, even the fantasy is whack bro. This shit sounds like. No, they wouldn't say that shit bro.
Speaker 1:That's true.
Speaker 2:You know what I'm saying. Not only that, bro Tupac's got way more conviction. That fool was like man fuck y'all. You know he's like straight up bro you know what? I'm saying even like Snoop bro, he's not like that bro, he's not.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and Pac would have been more fucking bro in your face like man, fuck that.
Speaker 2:You know what I'm saying. Yeah, he would have went. He put him on the line for sure, I agree, I agree so well, and then what led up to that?
Speaker 1:obviously, guys, euphoria. Oh yeah, this is Euphoria.
Speaker 2:This is where it really gets interesting.
Speaker 1:Yeah, this is where Kendrick responded here we go, man, let's go. This is Euphoria by Kendrick Lamar. All right, woo she my best.
Speaker 7:If you do that Euphoria, why are you laughing?
Speaker 1:Woo, she my best if you do that Euphoria.
Speaker 6:And I go calmly. He's like Euphoria. Okay, kendrick, let's do this. You don't predict your angles, Fabricating stories on the family front, cause you hurt Mr Morale, A pathetic master manipulator. I can smell the tails on you now. You're not a rap artist, you're a scam artist With the hopes of being accepted. Tommy Hilfiger stood out, but Fubo never had been your collection. I make music that electrify him. You make music that pacify him. I can double down on that line, but Make music that pacifies them.
Speaker 1:Switch up on the beat Shoot. Shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoo, shoo, shoo Beep.
Speaker 6:Beep, beep, beep, beep, beep. Yeah, I'm out the way. Yeah, I'm low, okay. Yeah, the island right here's remote. Okay, I ain't thinking about no reaper, nigga, I'm reaping what I sow. Okay, got a Benjamin and a Jackson all in my house like I'm Joe, okay, hell, okay, made his homeboys and them types Outro Music with a poker face. Have you ever paid $500,000 like to an open case? Well, I have, and I failed at both. But I came out straight.
Speaker 6:I hate when a rapper talk about guns, then somebody die. They turn into nuns. Then hop online like pray for my city. He faking for likes and digital hugs Is daddy, a killer. He wanna be junior. They must have forgot the shit that they done. I park your son. You don't work with me, no more. Okay, it's three ghosts left and I see two of them Kissing and hugging on stage. I love her to death. And then eight bars. I'll explain their phrase. It's nothing. Nobody can tell me. I don't wanna talk on no celly. You know, I got language barriers. It's no accent. You can sell me your colon, I be.
Speaker 2:So they say I was gonna say Keep it playing bro.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 6:Oh, my bad dog. Go go, fuck all that pushin' pee. Let me see you push a T. You better off spinnin' again on him. You think about pushin' me? He's Terrence Thornton. I'm Terrence Crawford. Yeah, I'm a whoopin' feet.
Speaker 6:We ain't gotta get personal. This a friendly fade. You should keep it that way. I know Outro Music. I said we, it's not just me, I'm what the coach will feel it. How many more fairy tale stories about your life till we had enough? How many more black features till you finally feel that you're black enough? I like Drake with the melodies. I don't like Drake when he act tough. You gonna make a nigga. Bring back puff. Let me see if Chubbs really crash something. Yeah, my first one, like my last one. It's a classic. You don't have one. Your core audience stomach that didn't tell them where you get your abs from. B12 is a fast one. Last one headshot for the year. You better walk around like daft punk. Remember a top dog? Who the fuck they think they playing with? Extortion my middle name as soon as you jump off of that plane. Bitch, I'm allergic to the lame shit. Only you like being famous. Yadi can't give you no swag. Neither I don't give a fuck about who you're hanging with.
Speaker 2:Surprise you, you jump off for that fuck all right let's take that backwards what kind of sound effect is that, bro? What the fuck is that?
Speaker 1:some generic shit that comes with the iphone. I don't know a fucking trumpet. Oh fuck man, way to crash a party man they're like yo, what kind of bootlegging shit was that just now, bro, you're doing the party man, ruin that shit. Okay, we're good, we're coming back. We're coming back.
Speaker 6:Hold on, let's do this again better walk around like dad didn't tell him where you get your abs from bro, that shit was funny about the abs.
Speaker 1:That shit made me laugh. Let's hear that. What was it? Called um ozempic or something. Yeah, that shit, bro, let me see chubs really crash something.
Speaker 6:Yeah, my first one, like my last one. It's a classic. You don't have one. Let your core audience stomach that. Didn't tell them where you get your abs from. V12, it's a fast one.
Speaker 1:Last one headshot for the year you better work out your core for abs. Yeah that was bro telling you this should go over people. If you're not a hip-hop head, this should go right over your head. Man, abs from v12.
Speaker 6:It's a fast one. Last one headshot for the year. You better walk around like daft punk. Remember a top dog? Who the fuck they think they playing with? Extortion my middle name as soon as you jump off for that plane bitch. I'm allergic to the lame shit. Only you like being famous. Yadi can't give you no swag. Neither I don't give a fuck about who you're hanging with. I hate the way that you walk, the way that you talk. I hate the way that you dress. Surprise, you wanted that feature request. You know that we got some shit to address.
Speaker 1:I even hate when you say the word I respect the fuck out of that bar and I'm sorry anyone who let it play, but I really love how he said he was shocked by that feature request. We still got some air to clear what the fuck. I don't know if y'all knew this, but you can do your research and find out 10 years ago.
Speaker 1:Supposedly. Have you watched the first person shooter music video? Remember that scene where they were in Spider-Man shit pointing at each other? Once upon a time, kendrick was supposed to have a verse on that track and he was supposed to be the third Spider-Man. When all three of them are pointing at each other, that was the original vision. Once upon a time. And drake was what. Drake asked him when was this? While they were still shooting disses at each other. Drake asked him I want you on this track, I want to have you. You know, man. Hey, you reached out to him. He come and be on first person shooter wait, wait, wait.
Speaker 2:We said while they're doing, this is. This is before the dishes, though. Yeah, before them, before the disses, though.
Speaker 1:Yeah, before them Before the disses.
Speaker 1:Okay, so you know because they know, and I don't know if you knew this, but before that they were already throwing shots at each other subliminals, of course. So while that was happening, he was shocked when he asked, and I was like brother, we've been at each other back and forth the past few years, first like what the fuck? I'm about to go over there and we're put on a fucking spider-man outfit with you and cole and be like this with y'all and the world's gonna be like what the hell? I respect kendrick for that, because I'm the same way. The reason I bring that up is because I stopped it there. Because I'm the same way.
Speaker 1:If I have a problem with you, I'm not going to shake your hand. You walk up to me. That's like me having me having a crazy conversation with somebody and then, when I see you in person again and we didn't fix it, you walk to me like what's up, dog? I'm like no, I'm not going to shake your hand, bro, because you know what I'm about to dab you up until we fix this shit and make it right?
Speaker 2:no, he does, but well, he hates.
Speaker 1:I'm talking about me. You know what I'm saying and my and that situation. You know I'm saying if I'm, if I'm, that's what I would do, like we need to. We have some shit to clear up first. So I respect him for that, because I'm the same way. I have the same mindset when it comes to that.
Speaker 1:You know, I'm saying what he said there I think everyone does, though, too I don't know about that man, not the one, not the individual that wants to box up to you trying to dab you up like nothing happened no, they don't but I'm saying like you, as the you know as a recipient always do like I'm.
Speaker 2:The same way too, bro. It's like I'm not gonna be, I'm not gonna be, I'm not gonna be the same as you, you know I'm saying like there's no way for this to be a uh cohesive type of thing if we don't address this and because because the thing is, it's like there's closure.
Speaker 1:You need closure, exactly, and, like I said, I'm all for fixing something. You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2:I'm all for it, but we need to have that conversation first. No open-ended shit.
Speaker 1:I'm not about to act like it didn't happen either. We're going to shake, we're going to talk first.
Speaker 2:And then, sure, like you need that, you know 100 no that's what you need.
Speaker 1:You need that shit, bro. Only everyone understands that, you know, but it's like so when he said that line and then there was something else he said earlier. Oh, I love that shit. I hate the way that you sneak this. Best believe if I catch flight I'm gonna be direct. That's how I roll, bro. I'm with that, with everything. I'm sure you're the same way. Sorry, I'm a little passionate about that because that's how I mean I'm about, bro.
Speaker 1:If you have an issue with somebody, don't subliminally I'm gonna say that real quick contact that person you better be a fucking man about it and hit that person up, like you said. Tell them directly, don't post nothing online. Don't do no indirect bullshit, real issue fucking. Yeah, bro, you got a problem dog. Throw some fucking balls and talk to that person.
Speaker 2:You know what I'm saying it's gonna be uncomfortable, but you gotta do it exactly.
Speaker 1:It's gonna be uncomfortable. I'm not look, I'm not telling you to be confrontational about it, but be a man about it. That's what I'm saying. Yeah, you know, that's that's for any general audience. You know I'm saying that that takes us in. Sorry, that's for any general person. You know I'm saying general situation. That's what.
Speaker 2:That's what I mean when I say that even a woman, you know saying even what it goes for everybody, both genders, exactly.
Speaker 1:It don't matter who you are, what gender you are, that's just the reality of it, right yeah?
Speaker 6:But that's just me. I guess Some shit just cringeworthy. You ain't even got to be deep. I guess Steal love when you see success.
Speaker 1:I hit the way I hit that on accident. You're like what version of this are you playing my boy? It kind of went with it, luckily it was well-placed. It went well with it, huh.
Speaker 2:Well, I mean now it doesn't, because, you know, because we stopped it.
Speaker 1:I guess it's just me. I guess I'm sorry. I got to enjoy that for what? It was, that was funny. It did go well, though, huh. I went with it.
Speaker 6:I hate the way that you walk, the way that you talk. I hate the way that you dress. Surprise. She wanted that feature request.
Speaker 6:You know that we got some shit to address. I even hate when you say the word nigga. But that's just me. I guess Some shit just cringe-worthy. You ain't even got to be. Everything with me is blessed. Keep making me dance, waving my hand, and it won't be no threat.
Speaker 6:I'm knowing they call you the boy, but where's the man? Cause I ain't seen him yet. Matter of fact, I ain't even bleed him yet. Can I bleed him when I see you stand by sexy red? I believe you see two bad bitches. I believe you don't like women. It's real competition. You might pop ass with them. Let's be on percentage. I double back with you. You assigned to a nigga that signed to a nigga that said he was signed to that nigga. Try to cease and desist on. I like that record. Oh what, you ain't like that record. Back to back. I like that record. I'm going to get back to that for the record.
Speaker 6:Why would I call around trying to get dirt on niggas? Y'all thinking my life is rap. That's whole shit. I giving them tools to walk through life like day by day, know nothing about that. Teaching them morals, integrity, discipline. Listen, man. They don't know nothing about that. Speaking the truth and consider what God's considering. They don't know nothing about that. Ain't 20 V1, it's 1 V20. If I got to smack niggas, that, right with you. Yeah, bring them out too. I'll clean them out too. Tell Nigga, feeling like Joe Hell Austin Funny, he was in a film called AI and my six cents telling me to off him. I'm a blick. Niggas all in a coffin yeah, over. Your niggas is dick riders. Tell them run to America to imitate heritage. They can't imitate this violence. What I learned is niggas don't like the West Coast and I'm fine with it. I'll push the line with it. Pick a nigga off, one at a time. With it we can be on a three, all right.
Speaker 2:So do you know who a croatie is?
Speaker 1:No, but I know, isn't that a Canadian term?
Speaker 2:No, it's like what's it on Google? It says croatie means it's the origination from the words Crip and Brodie. Crip and. Brodie Croatie.
Speaker 1:Ohdi, oh okay, it's a crip term, but kenji's butterfly I thought so he was wearing red on on the juneteenth on the juneteenth concert.
Speaker 2:I'm staying out of the color code shit, so yeah, my boy was wearing never mind he might be right, though, because he was wearing all red.
Speaker 1:No, not all red, but he was wearing red, prominently red, at that Juneteenth concert. Crotty, I don't know. Kdot enlighten us. Maybe he'll say it here, oh no, right here.
Speaker 2:That's the best part of the song. Right here, bro. That's the best part. Just that's the play that's the best part.
Speaker 6:Hey, fuck y'all niggas. I don't trust y'all niggas. I wave one finger and thump y'all niggas Like mm Phil. Go punk y'all niggas. They punk y'all niggas. Nobody never took my food, whoever that's fucking with them. Fuck you niggas and fuck the industry too.
Speaker 1:If you take it there, I'm taking it.
Speaker 6:We don't wanna hear you say nigga, no more. Someone drop ice down his back.
Speaker 1:We don't wanna hear you say nigga, no more, stop okay, so that was Euphoria man and uh, yeah, that was neat man. I was like that's a solid diss track, bro. I liked it a lot. I think that this man, it speaks for itself.
Speaker 1:Y'all didn't hear, you just heard it now and um, besides the ones and notables that I pointed out, that's all I gotta say about that. Even you want to add to it. That was pretty straightforward, man. So that was. That was that, man. The next thing up now is, uh, what everybody says, and I kind of agree with it. This is probably drake's best shot at kendrick right here. This next track was his best swing at him, which was, uh, family matters. You know what'm saying. And then let's hear it, man, let's get into it. I'm going to go ahead and actually transition to the music video, because there's a music video that goes with this, you guys. So we're actually not going to see our reaction, we're going to be listening to it with y'all. But we're going to transition over to the music video because obviously there's some imagery in here that we're going Kendrick Van from Good Kid Mad City. We'll get into it now.
Speaker 7:Maybe in this song you shouldn't start by saying Nigga, I said it.
Speaker 5:I know that you mad. I've emptied the clip over friendlier jabs. You mentioned my seed and I deal with his dad. I gotta go bad, I gotta go bad, mm, mm. Yeah, drop, drop, drop, drop, drop. A 50 bag for the mob in a spot. Drop a 50 bag 29 for Outro Music YG.
Speaker 5:You know who really bangin' said my nigga, chuck T. You know who even bangin' said out there, cb, that nigga cold, loose, asleep on this, it ain't me. You better have some paperwork or that shit. Fake tea Can't be rappin' by no ratting that we can't read. I mean, it's true, a nigga slimy for my AP, just like how Metro niggas slimy for his main squeeze Out here beggin' for attention.
Speaker 5:Niggas say please, always rapping like you bout to get the slaves free. You just acting like an activist. It's make-believe. Don't even go back to your hood and plant no money trees Say you hate the girls. I fuck. But what you really mean? I've been with black and white and everything that's in between you, the black messiah wifing up a mixed queen and hit vanilla cream to help out with your self-esteem.
Speaker 5:Also, bobby, outro Music. Mama Cash was always screaming save me. You did it dirty all your life. You tryna make peace. I heard that one of them lil' kids might be day free. Don't make it day freeze, cause if your GM is your BM secret BD, then this is all making plenty fuckin' sense to me. Ayy, let that shorty breathe. Shake that ass, bitch. Hands on your knees, hands on your knees, hands on your knees, hands on your knees. Shake that ass for Drake. Now shake that ass for free. Yeah, yeah, we're not that kinda free.
Speaker 5:I'm talkin' bout my nigga, dave, your man, a Lil' K. We call that shit a mini Drake. He always said I overlooked him. I was starin' straight. These bars go over Kenny's head no matter what I say. I know you like to keep it short, so let me paraphrase Knew, it was smoke when Abel hit us with the serenade.
Speaker 5:Niggas say uh, uh, almost started reaching for my waves. Drop, drop, drop, drop, drop. A 50 bag for the mob in a spot. Drop a 50 bag 29 for the thots. Uh, I was really, really trying to keep it.
Speaker 5:Yo, you stop playing around and take this shit seriously. Niggas is a joke, I take it seriously. Yo look if Drake Shooter's doing TikToks. Nigga really shooting your game. That's peace, brother. Y'all ain't getting shit shot. Nigga can't listen to the stick talking Falsetto saving your game. That's peace, brother. Y'all ain't gettin' shit shot. Nigga can't listen to the stick talkin' Falsetto savin' for a hip-hop. Nigga, y'all don't even be a home dog. You a souvenir out the gift shop.
Speaker 5:Nigga still mad about that one hoe. We ain't even fuck, I just lip-lock with her. I get angry when it's wartime. I ain't even really I'm by the nose. Job nigga O's in me Got a side effect of jealousy and doubt. I never told y'all niggas, put a nigga in the bars, let a nigga rock. Kinda like an old job nigga house sittin' on some land. But it's how I know and even really know y'all niggas Bitches gotta drive two hours for you pay em just to give a blow job. Nigga must've started up a snowboard Cause my last record deal was 400 ends. These days that's a low.
Speaker 5:Who's next on the list? Which one of my so-called niggas? Which one of my so-called niggas? Which one of my so-called niggas? Me? The chef on the clip Always knew I had to smoke.
Speaker 5:Y'all niggas, good kid mad city Van Will, pot of latch and make the door slide. Tears running down my cheek Laughing at you, pussy dying. It's a war cry. We can music get him played In all the spots where boys that's why all your friends dip into Atlanta plan just to find a tour guide Able run your fucking bread. Need to buy some more chains for some more guys.
Speaker 5:Let me find another street, nigga, I can take to the game court side. Let me get a used Ferrari for a rapper. Take the nigga on a horse ride Anything to take a spotlight off the fact the boss is a drugged out little punk sissy from the north side. Rock him talking shit again. Gas, cause you hit my being first, nigga. Do the math who I was hitting in? I ain't even know.
Speaker 5:You rap still, cause they only talking about your fit again. Probably gotta have a kid again before you think of dropping any shit again. Even when you do drop, they gon' say you should've modeled, cause it's mid again Smoking 50, but they should've put you on the first one trying to get it in. Ask Fring if that's a good idea. Then next time you cut her in her bed again, shit, leave until you leave the boy alone before you get your head split again. Do those shit make me sick to my stomach. We ain't never really been through it, leland Wayne. He a fuckin' lame so I know he had to be an influence.
Speaker 5:These niggas had a plan and they finally found a way to rope the end to it. Two separate albums, this, and I just did the chem to it. Nigga skim through it Me and Savage had the hoes dripping where the shows almost had to swim to it. K Put his pen to it, ross calling me the white boy, and the shit kinda got a ring to it, cause all these rappers waving white flags While the whole fucking club sing to it Murder scene on your man. Tonight they ain't come to visit with the candlelight Body at the fucking body. And you know, rick, reading my Miranda rights, I'm going on vacation. I hope next time y'all plan it right, cause you gotta pay for saying my name. Guess now niggas understand the price We'll be. Get his legacy out of my house. A cease and desist is for hoes Can't listen to lies that come out of your mouth.
Speaker 5:You call the two. I can stay and beg them to sue me and get that shit down. I'm losing perspective on people. Boy, when the sand beating, I kill you for fun. Your daddy got robbed by Top. You stunnin' and wainin' like father, like son and Anthony set up the plays. Coach, I'll Outro Music. The shit will be cute, unless you don't wanna be seen With anyone that isn't blacker than you. We get it. We got it. The blacker the bed, the sweeter the juice. We get that. You like to put gin in your juice? We get that. You think that you bishop in juice. When you put your hands on your girl, is it self-defense, cause she bigger than you. Your back is up against the curb. You diggin' for dirt. She be diggin' for proof. Why did you move to New York? We'll be right back for anyone out here that's calling it right. You're dead. You're dead. You're dead. There's nowhere to hide. There's nowhere to hide. You know what I mean. They hired a crisis management team to clean up the fact that you beat on your queen.
Speaker 4:The picture you painted ain't what it seemed. You're dead. What?
Speaker 1:did you think, man, that was Family Matters?
Speaker 2:I'm mixing it. He had some, some clever bars in there but my thing bro. I get it, bro, this thing, like you know, like, like the gloves are off, bro, but when you start banging people's wives and stuff like that, bro he got too personal with it no, it's not too personal, you're just going too far, bro.
Speaker 2:It's like, bro, like you don't have, bro, these people aren't involved in this shit. You know, I get, the song is called family matters, but you're just too involved. But like, like, of course, like you, he brought up his wife first, he did, he started it, and then kendrick brings up his son and kendrick warned him.
Speaker 1:He said let's keep this, let's keep this shit an exhibition bro, yeah, and you decided to but drake drake's ignoring the fact that he brought up his wife.
Speaker 2:You know, I'm saying or he named out whitney, maybe he didn't bring up his wife, but he named out Whitney. You know his wife's name is Whitney, or his girl's name is Whitney, I don't know if they're married, but you bring that up, you bring up your son. Now you bring it up again and it's like, bro, you can't be like, oh, you're talking family now, bro, you started that shit. You know what I'm saying. And Kenny and all that you know. Like years ago he didn't make up anything about his family.
Speaker 1:No, he didn't. He just simply said he didn't have a family. He said nothing was the same. What did he say? That was clever as fuck bars, bro he said nothing was the same. Yeah, he's like nothing was the same. So they took a sense of the rapper. Yeah, inside his pajama clothes High five. I'm bulletproof Jokes on you. I'm bulletproof, I was like ugh.
Speaker 2:But yeah, I think.
Speaker 1:High five schoolboy Q. High five. I rock with their camp man.
Speaker 2:They're cool what you were saying, but he just over, bro, like don't bring people's families into it, man again.
Speaker 1:He's told him that he's like let's just keep this shit in front of the exhibition because it's not battle rap, bro, battle rap.
Speaker 2:They fucking do that shit. But that's a different element, bro bro.
Speaker 1:People will be and kendrick warned him because he's from that culture, like bro let's keep this shit in exhibition is you? I'm really gonna fuck you up. I don't think you understand those personals, bro, and that's why he said you go there, you take those licks. Do you think dave free really fucked his wife? I don't know, it's possible, I mean, for Kendrick to keep and I mean sorry for Drake to continue to double down on that shit, triple down on that shit.
Speaker 1:I mean shake your ass for Drake, or shake your ass for free, having a good day.
Speaker 2:I'm like the fuck bro in this world, I think anything's possible, especially in Hollywood, bro. And then what makes?
Speaker 1:it worse, and I'm getting ahead of myself. Hollywood is possible. That'll be in the hard part six, bro, I'm getting ahead of myself. Well, I'll revisit this when we get to. That's the last track of the beef you want to tell me?
Speaker 1:we have super context, bro, we gotta discuss it all. I like the beat to that track. I ain't gonna lie to you, I like. The only thing I like about that track is the beat. The beat is hard. That's a misstep, waste of production, that's what that was. I like the beat. So, yes, I'm gonna play the track, for not for that reason, man, I I honestly feel like, look, it's part of the timeline, we got to discuss it. But also I like the beat. The song was ass, we'll get there. Um, anyway, yeah, the whole thing with david free man, it was a little offensive. That shit got dark. But then the beef took a turn that night because I remember he dropped it, thinking cool, I got, I got a nice little fucking haymaker. I'm probably gonna eat drake probably thought I'm gonna go out have some drinks tonight. Enjoy this shit. There's a good little w for the evening. Maybe for the next few days kendrick will probably reply.
Speaker 1:Then wrong, hell, no, 20 minutes later, bro, 16 fucking minutes later he dropped, master the shit oh fuck, I had it ready in the clip, bro. He's like alright, motherfucker, we going Mixing master, we on, bro, alright, you want to talk? You didn't take my advice, motherfucker, you really didn't take my advice. Okay, meet the grams on your ass. Kendrick drops this and then you guys see the cover art above us here and the middle here. You know what I'm saying. You guys go ahead and, as I've been posting these throughout the episode, you go ahead and you see, you go ahead and decipher that you can zoom in and see the Asempic bottle. Is that a FUBU shirt that he never owned? I don't fucking know, but it's a few things that popping, popping, bro, isn't it? But anyway, yeah, no, so so we will get to it. Meet the grams 20 minutes after family matters. Uh, didn't really give drake's uh track time to to breathe whatsoever, but that was good, fucking good, good ploy.
Speaker 1:Good, good play on kendrick's hand. You gotta hand it to him. Smart play, good play, good play on.
Speaker 6:Kendrick's hand, you got to hand it to him. Smart play, dear Adonis, I'm sorry that that man is your father. Let me be honest it takes a man to be a man.
Speaker 1:Your dad is not Already, starts with talking to his son. We're going to let it play. Yeah, all right, responsive, huh, it's too much right there. Immediately, immediately play. Yeah, all right, responsive, huh, it's too much right there, though. Immediately, immediately, didn't even hold back. The song is called meet the grams, so that shit already told us right there, going into it like it.
Speaker 2:Just the thing about it is.
Speaker 1:To me it's just like he bro, this is probably, in my opinion, someone's son bro, like I was about to say that this is probably this if I was drake, this would maybe and again, I don't, he's not built like this, right. They say or they think, then again, I don't know the man, so maybe he is. I don't know if I would. This is some mad. This is probably the most disrespectful shit that that, that kendrick wrote the entire thing track to my son yeah, bro forever like it's.
Speaker 2:It's just fucked up it is.
Speaker 1:So I'm gonna like kendrick took a really dark low turn here and man, when I tell you, bro, this yeah for sure this song right here shows you he genuinely hates Drake.
Speaker 2:This song right here, if Drake didn't fucking mention his wife.
Speaker 1:It wouldn't have gone here. I agree, no, no, I agree with you, furious. Honestly, you guys in the audience watching this Timeless Talk episode, I'm going to tell you honestly, you guys in audience watching this timeless talk episode, I'm gonna tell y'all right now man, this is this song, I'm gonna let it play after this, I'm gonna stop it, no more. You all just really take this in, and this is probably the most dark, disrespectful song in the entire beef. No cap the six minutes too, bro. He, he talks to each family member. I'm just let y'all listen, man. Kendrick, yeah, yeah, meet the grams talks to everybody, all of them mom, dad, son I'm sorry that that man is your father.
Speaker 6:Let me be honest it takes a man to be a man. Your dad is not responsive. I look at him and wish your grandpa would have wore a condom. I'm sorry that you gotta grow up and then stand behind them. Life is hard. I know the challenges always go beat us home. Sometimes our parents make mistakes that affect us until we grown. Hey, you're a good kid that need good leadership. Let me be your mentor, since your daddy don't teach you shit.
Speaker 6:Never let a man piss on your leg, son. Either you die right there or pop that man in the head. Son, never fall in the escort business. That's bad religion. That's law. Don't be ashamed about who you with. That's how we treat your moms. Don't have a kid to hide. A kid to hide again.
Speaker 6:Be sure, 5% will comprehend, but 95 is lost. Be proud of who you are. Your strength come from within A lot of superstars, that's real. But your daddy ain't one of them and you nothing. Like him, you'll carry yourself as king. Can't understand me right now. Just play this when you 18.
Speaker 6:Dear Sandra, your son got some habits. I hope you don't undermine them, especially with all the girls. That's hurt inside this climate. You're a woman, so you know how it feels to be in alignment with emotion, hoping a man can see you and not be blinded. Dear Dennis, you gave birth to a master manipulator. Even using you to prove who he is is a huge favor. I think you should ask for more paper and more paper and more, more paper.
Speaker 6:I'm blaming you for all his gambling addictions, psychopath intuition, the man that liked to play victim. You raised a horrible fucking person. The nerve for you, dennis. Sandra, sit down. What I'm about to say is heavy. Now listen. Your son's a sick man with sick thoughts. I think niggas like him should die. Hit my wine stain. She get fucked up in a cell for the rest of their life. He hates black women, hypersexualize them with kinks of a nympho fetish, grew facial hair because he understood being a fit him better. He got sex offenders on a whole vio that he keep on a monthly allowance and a child should never be compromised. And he keeping his child around. We gotta raise our daughters knowing there's predators like him lurking. Fuck a rap battle. He should die so all of these women can live with a purpose.
Speaker 6:I've been in this industry 12 years. I'm gonna tell y'all one little secret it's some weird shit going on, and some of these artists be here to police it. They be streamlining victims all inside of their home and calling them Tinder, then leak videos of themselves to further push their agendas To any woman that be playing this music, know that you're playing your sister or, better yet, selling your niece To the weirdos, not the good ones. Cat Williams said give me the truth so I'ma get mine. The embassy about to get raided too. It's only a matter of time. Hey, lebron, keep the family away. Hey, curry, keep the family away To anybody that embody the love for their kids. Keep the family away. They looking at you too. If you standing by him. Keep the family away. I'm looking to shoot through any pervert that lives. Keep the family safe, dear baby girl. I'm sorry that your father.
Speaker 1:Not active inside your world. Whoa, okay, this was the big. The whole song is big, but this part right here, bro. Accusations of a daughter. Here we go.
Speaker 6:Dear baby girl, I'm sorry that your father Not active inside your world. He don't commit to much, but it's music, yeah, that's for sure. He, a narcissist misogynist Living inside his songs Try to destroy families. Thank you, perks, examples that you don't deserve. I want to tell you that you're loved. You're brave, you're kind. You got a gift to change the world and can change your father's mind, cause our children is the future, but he lives inside confusion. Money's always been illusion, but that's the life he's used to. His father probably didn't claim him. Neither History do repeats itself Sometimes it don't need a reason. But I would like to say it's not your fault that he's hiding another child. Give him grace. That's the reason I made mr morale, so our babies, like you, can cope later. Give you some confidence to go through something. It's hope later. I never want to hear you chasing me because it's failed behavior, sitting in the club with sugar daddies for validation. You need to know that love is eternity and trumps all pain. I tell you you who your father is. Just play this song when it rains. Yes, he's a hit maker, songwriter, superstar, right and a fucking deadbeat that should never say more life. Meet the Grams.
Speaker 6:Dear Aubrey, I know you probably thinking I wanted to crash a party, but truthfully I don't have a hating bone in my body. This supposed to be a good exhibition within the game, but you fucked up the moment you called out my family's name. Why you had to stoop so low to the scredits of decent people. Guess integrity is lost when the metaphors doesn't reach you and I like to understand cause. Your house was never a home 37, but you showing up as a 7 year old. You got gambling problems, drinking problems, pill popping. Thank you with you because I know that you ain't been through nothing. Crave entitlement but want to be like so bad. That is puzzling. No dominance. Let's recap moments when you didn't fit in no secret handshakes with your friend. No culture cachet to binge, just disrespecting your mother identities on the fence don't say this real quick, man.
Speaker 1:That's crazy, because he went from being super dark and fucked up to like I didn't want to do this to you, man. So the last part, he's talking directly to him and he's kind of like you asked for this man and he's kind of like I, I wanted to cope with you, I wanted to empathize with you.
Speaker 2:I recommend some ayahuasca you know, it was a good bar that was a good bar.
Speaker 1:It stuck out to you see, I like how you you caught it too. I was like hey okay, dot, I want to.
Speaker 6:Okay, cool. That ain't how mama raised us. Take that mask off. I want to see what's under them. Achievements why believe you? You never gave us nothing to believe in Cause you lied about religious views. You lied about your surgery. You lied about your accent and your past tense All is perjury. You lied about your ghost writers. You lied about your crew members they all pussy. You lied on them. I know they all got you in them. You lied, got you in them. You lied about your son. You lied about your daughter. Huh, you lied about them. Other kids that's out there hoping that you come. You lied about the only artist that can offer you some help. Fuck a rap battle.
Speaker 1:This a long life battle with yourself what'd you think, man, that was Meet the Grams. That was cool. It was a dark song, man, I mean don't get me wrong. It was hey man. He asked for it.
Speaker 2:I just think, man, it's just one of those things, bro. It's like you're kicking a horse while it's down.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:It was good, but it's just like I mean damn bro.
Speaker 1:It was extra right, it was a little.
Speaker 2:I'm sorry, drake, he didn't do it to himself, bro, because at that point, bro, I'm just like damn like he's. But then he is slaughtering him. Bro, I'm just like I. It's not even a head bop anymore.
Speaker 1:I'm just like, okay, damn and this is why this song doesn't have much replay value, because it's kind of like damn that's not really something you listen to like.
Speaker 2:I mean, this is the one, this is the one song out of all the four or five I don't want to listen to, like this is the one song for me. I'm just like I don't mind, not this, not listen to it, but like if I wanted like, okay, like if I wanted to hate drake, I'll listen to this song 100 if I'm like yeah, I'm like no, this.
Speaker 1:This is the song where he establishes how much he hates him. Bro, that's the track right there.
Speaker 2:That's like I mean I just I want to know me this, this, the check. This is like the gossip track I want to know if all this is true like, yeah, like with the daughter.
Speaker 1:That's what I want to know. No big facts.
Speaker 2:Yeah, the mention of the daughter, the mention because, yeah, like everyone's like running with the, not like us.
Speaker 1:I want to know if this is factual too no facts and especially when you're making accusations like that being a pedophile if it's factual you know I'm saying him being a shitty father, all that stuff like that stuff. You know the gambling, the drinking. He posts all that in his social media. So that part we know is true. Drake does like to gamble, he drinks a lot, he posts the shit, but so does a lot of people who doesn't like exactly, who doesn't like to have a good time. That doesn't mean he does it every day. He doesn't mean that his lifestyle is really like that.
Speaker 2:No, but no one in this battle. Shit is perfect. No, exactly because, like I was about to say that, because their angles.
Speaker 1:All right, so we'll go over their angles real quick. Kendrick's angle is Drake's biggest angle is that Drake's a? Pedophile, that he's a shitty father. He's hiding his daughter. He has a daughter that no one knows about. The biggest one, though, is that he's a pedophile that's the biggest one, but then also that he's hiding a daughter, that he's a shitty dad, that he's not a good person. He's a fucking impersonator to the culture.
Speaker 1:He's just whack. He's just whack and he's an impersonator to the culture. Those are his angles, Drake's angles you're a wife beater.
Speaker 2:Fake woke.
Speaker 1:You're a fake woke.
Speaker 2:You're over here trying to act like you're freeing the slaves.
Speaker 1:Basically, You're making yourself to be a god or a deity that you're not and that you're acting like you're really fraudulent. You're not really like that. You don't impress me with your lyrics. Okay, we get that that's his angle, but then mostly that he's a wife beater and that his wife is fucking David Free Right and the thing about it's I don't know anything about him.
Speaker 1:I don't either and I researched it only for this episode, bro real shit. And I looked into it and what I found out was drake wasn't wrong when he said that and he says this. That's why I brought up the hard part six, and I'll probably wait to say it. Once we bring that song up, you'll see that. So, basically, his angle is your wife got fucked by your manager. You know, you haven't seen the kids. You're not with the kids, no more. They don't know where their dad is. His angle is that he's also a shitty father. You're not one to talk, you're a bad father too. You're a fake woke and you beat your wife and that's supposed to be used to fight her. And you get the point. That's what he's claiming. I feel like the biggest angles for both of them. If you have to summarize it to one, drake is saying he's a wife, he's a woman beater, a wife beater and like a womanizer. And Kendrick says you're a fucking pedophile.
Speaker 2:Those are the two biggest angles. Wife beating is still bad. It is Thank you Exactly. I mean it's not not bad.
Speaker 1:No, exactly, I'm trying to hammer that home. Exactly. His biggest angle is that, hey, you're a wife beater, you're a woman beater, are we?
Speaker 2:going to worse than pedophilia. No, no, pedophilia probably it's still bad, it's still bad.
Speaker 1:Exactly, beating a woman is not okay. We're not going to condone that, but those are their angles, would you agree?
Speaker 2:Their biggest angles is, kendrick, you're saying that you're a pedophile, your wife Peter, and all this and that, and Drake, you're a fucking pedophile.
Speaker 1:I really all you need to say about that. I was about to say that I think calling jacob pedophile is probably the best. Any man, any man, yeah, no man wants that. Fuck me, or kendrick, you don't want to end up a cell block one. You don't want to end up a cell block one. I'm getting ahead of myself again. That's not like us, but it's like you don't want to end up there, because that's the worst shit you could be fucking accused of, in my opinion. Again, man, not that, it's not that beating your wife is any better.
Speaker 2:It's actually even worse than being like you know.
Speaker 1:I agree, it's even worse than that. I'm on my emo's edge.
Speaker 2:You're not going to say it. We don't want you to cancel it, but anyway.
Speaker 1:No, I agree with you. It's worse than that, no doubt. And again, like, beating your wife is not any better, but it's not worse either. They're both terrible. You get the point track here. So, after that Kendrick decided to double down because Drake didn't respond. I'm sure Drake was probably in shock still that this fool dropped Meet the Gram so soon. But then I want to say the next day later, the biggest song, the biggest track I want to say in the entire year at this point now, not Like Us by Kendrick Doubling down.
Speaker 2:this is basically his version of back to back that video is going to have a fucking billion views bro, right now it's sitting on it no, the actual video, not the track, like no from youtube. No, that's not the video, that's a track. They're making a video. They did a video shoot last week. Oh, they did. Oh, that's gonna have a billion views in compton that's gonna have a billion views.
Speaker 1:In Compton, that's going to have a billion views.
Speaker 2:Okay, so the track on YouTube Over 100 million already.
Speaker 1:No, no, no, not that many Almost, You're close.
Speaker 2:Like 95?
Speaker 1:99. Oh shit, as it's sitting right now, at this time, right now as we're recording this. Not like us on YouTube, guys, this is not the streaming numbers. Those numbers are probably even higher, right, I'm sure, spotify, apple Music, those are probably way higher. But on YouTube, where he originally dropped it with the fucking I'll put it up here for you guys to see it the cover art of Drake's Estate. You've seen it right, all the pedophile logos on the fucking building. 99 million views on YouTube, actually, what less than two?
Speaker 2:months.
Speaker 1:One month ago, one month, one month that goes to tell you, with 99 million views, this song is hands down, this, this, this solidified Kendrick winning this beef bro.
Speaker 2:The money he's made off that probably already. Bro has already eclipsed him going platinum.
Speaker 1:Facts. And then, right when you agree, this solidifies him winning the beef Right here this song right once the video drops bro that's like the nail in the coffin.
Speaker 2:The video's gonna have everybody in it, everyone who's who, everyone who's a compton native, south central native, la native artist who's actually like relevant, they're gonna, they're probably gonna, oh yeah that shit, oh, for sure you're gonna have snoop in that shit game. You're gonna have fucking too short, probably corrupt gonna be in that shit exactly.
Speaker 1:It's a west coast song.
Speaker 2:It it's about LA right, it's about the West Coast, Bro. You're probably going to have hope in there too.
Speaker 1:Yeah, not like us. You can go anywhere with that, bro, you know, what I mean. Oh, for sure it's everywhere. Y'all know this song right, but we're going to play it for the sake of reviewing it.
Speaker 6:Here we go, not Like Us. Kendrick Lamar Back I see dead people. He can hate me. Fuck him all in the mama. How many ops you really got. I mean it's too many options. I'm finna. I lean on you, niggas, like another line to walk. Yeah, up the park. Put the road label on me. I'm going to get them dropped. Sweet chin music and I won't pass the ox. Speaker 6:Fast forward 2024, you got the same agenda. You run to Atlanta when you need a check balance. Let me break it down for you. This, the real nigga challenge. You call future when you didn't see the club. Ay, what lil' baby, help you get your lingo up. What? 21,? Get your 4th street cred Thug. Make you feel like you a slime in your head. What Grabo said you can be from Northside. What 2 Chainz say you good, but he lied. You run to Atlanta when you need a few dollars. No, you not a colleague, you a fucking colonizer. The family matter and the truth of the matter he was God's plan to show y'all the liar.
Speaker 1:I like that part, bro, Real quick, before we get into the last part of this track, when he was like it was in God's plan.
Speaker 6:Listen to this God's plan. You got that For the matter. It was God's plan to show y'all.
Speaker 2:His biggest song was God's plan.
Speaker 1:Yeah, bro, you see how he I like how you caught that too.
Speaker 2:Actually, it was actually how I meant it.
Speaker 1:It was, but still. Yeah, you got it though, yeah, to me I don't care, bro. I like that part. That was hard. The family matter and the truth of the matter. It was god's plan. Oh, let's show you who's a liar. Oh man, you know what man props to kendrick?
Speaker 2:I'm sorry they managed. And the truth of the matter, it was god's plan to show you the lie.
Speaker 1:Oh yeah, you saw that that was dope. We referenced both songs. Man bro, it's hip-hop dog. That was hard. I like that right. That was clean to me. I like it to me.
Speaker 2:I like it. He's just got a way better pen game bro period. Jcole's not touching that either. Sorry.
Speaker 1:I'm not arguing with you, brother JCole's dope. I will say this though they're both legends in their own right, a little differently. And they both got mad pen skills. Bro, it's just separate, just in different ways, in different ways. He's not better, he's not. I know that's subjective. He's great, you know he's got greater ways up bro.
Speaker 2:You can just see, bro, okay.
Speaker 1:I know You're right, dog. What are you saying, though?
Speaker 6:Nah, I'm touching you, bro. He a fan, he a fan, he a fan, he a fan, he a fan. He a Freaky-ass nigga. He a 69 God. Freaky-ass nigga, he a 69 God. Hey, hey, hey, hey, run for your life 69 God run for your life.
Speaker 6:Hey, hey, hey, run for your life. Freaky-ass, nigga, he's a 69 god. Freaky ass, nigga, he's a 69 god. Hey, hey, hey, hey, run for your life, hey, hey, hey, hey, run for your life. Let me hear you say oh be ho, oh be ho. Say oh be ho, oh be ho. Then step this way, step that way. This is trolling with this boy bro are you? My friend, are we like being? Then step this way, step that way, this step this way, step that way.
Speaker 2:Damn bro, this is a nail in the coffin right here. I thought one of the parts too, that was like one of the parts that was like that was hard too.
Speaker 1:Good job, Kendrick. When that fool said you won the beef.
Speaker 2:Yeah, you did bro Nah the part. Yeah, he did bro nah the part where he was like when that fool said nah, when that fool was like oh, the devil is a lie, he's a 69 God. That means man, you ain't like bro, you ain't even what you, you ain't all you are is a fucking priest.
Speaker 1:Nah, real shit, you're a 69.
Speaker 5:God and you were really bro, that's, You're a 69 guy. You were really bro. That's what I got from it too.
Speaker 1:Yep, that was a lie and that's what he's saying. There's no doubt. There's no doubt about this. What do they say? When they say something's definitive, there's a word for it. When someone loses in the race, the voting race, where it's a landslide, there's another word for it.
Speaker 2:I mean landslide's good.
Speaker 1:That landslide's good. That's a good one, right? That's a good word to use. You're right, this shit was a landslide Fucking unanimously done, bro, like solidified fucking victory bro.
Speaker 2:Don't play Heartbreak 6, man.
Speaker 1:We have to, bro. It's part of the beef we got to dog Look, you're right, because I don't want to end it on a bad note. That's why I shot the confetti early. Because Kendrick won, would you agree? The Timeless Talk crew agrees that Kendrick Lamar won this beef, would you agree? I think it's unanimous.
Speaker 2:You have to agree, bro. I mean, you don't have to agree.
Speaker 1:No, there's Drake fans out there that say otherwise. Obviously I mean it's If you believe that you're delusional.
Speaker 2:It's an opinion-based thing but You're delusional, Bro.
Speaker 1:who based thing?
Speaker 2:but you're not looking in, bro bro, who bro the? Who is the?
Speaker 1:no, they're the best. Even the establishment, bro, they're in the epitome of delusion. I believe that drake one that's a delusion. Would you agree, drake?
Speaker 2:has support he did.
Speaker 1:He does have support and he has some good.
Speaker 2:He has some good swings he has some fucking dire fans.
Speaker 2:But think, but think about it they are also human, bro, they hear both sides, they listen to plenty of artists, bro, no one's like man drake got this hands down, bro, this is naturally like, bro, I'm sorry, bro, he, yeah, that's me, you know, and that's true. Because, bro, his fans are also listening to that shit. Yeah, sorry, it's not just like his friends are just sticking with his, their brothers in the both, both of them, that's true. No, like, like, like they still rock with them. Like once it comes out with something hot again, they're gonna going to be like oh yo, he's back, but they're still bumming Kendrick's shit.
Speaker 1:They are and they're still going to. This shit's going to hit 100 million, if not where it's about to.
Speaker 2:It already hit it. It already hit it, basically 99 million. It already hit it. You probably should give that 100 millionth.
Speaker 1:Yeah, for the first time. That's the first time.
Speaker 2:I heard it this is dope dog. I work out to this music.
Speaker 1:You know Dan before the end of the night tonight it's going to hit 100 million easily, yeah, easy, before the end of the night. All right, guys, but now we are going to show. We are going to play the Heart Part 6. The only thing good about this track other than the beat, in my opinion, other than the beat is the name, because he took even though Kendrick's still gonna make a Heart Part 6, you know what he is he took a title out of Kendrick's you know Heart series of songs. You've heard him right the Heart.
Speaker 2:If he was smart with this shit, Drake would have did a video. Right, you know how like Kendrick did that face shit. Yeah, Drake would have did a video where he face or some shit, or like people that he like respects you know, morphing into their faces, talking to him like he did some, just some shit like that. If he was really creative but I agree if he was still, I agree about it, I agree.
Speaker 1:And then rap, still be, you've still been great but rap like with that thing, like bro deuce, you're gonna or study their cadence and rap how they actually would have rapped. I agree, let me get tupac, you like that tupac and snoop on the song Like.
Speaker 2:Come on, man Like bro know your enemy, bro.
Speaker 1:No, I agree you know what I mean Like see man. Would you agree with that, though, that Taylor Maypie would have done better had he at least studied the cadence and made it make sense?
Speaker 2:Not with the AI.
Speaker 1:No, okay, yeah that's true Because disrespectful. I agree. The whole fucking you sound like you didn't even sound like pocket. You didn't rap like him, you just made it look stupid I agree well, let's just wrap this shit, bro. We'll get to the hard part six. You go with it, you guys want to add to it.
Speaker 1:Sorry, not the heart, here we go. This was drake's response, again to end on a high note. Guys, sorry, we're gonna take it back down to the last track of the beef, which was the hard part six by Drake. And this is it. Yes.
Speaker 8:Prove it. Let's prove it.
Speaker 1:Prove it. This beats hard.
Speaker 5:I don't give a fuck. Nobody says the Pulitzer Prize winner is definitely spiraling. I got your fucking lines tapped. I swear that I'm dialed in. First I was a rat, so where's the proof of the trial then? Where's the paperwork of the cabinet? It's filed in 1090. Jake would've took all the walls down the streets, would've had me hiding out in a small town. My Montreal Connects stand up, not fall down. The ones that you getting your stories from. They all clowns. I am a war general, seasoned in preparation. My jacket is covered in medals, honor and decoration.
Speaker 5:You waited for this moment, overcome with the desperation, we plotted for a weekend and we fed you the information. A daughter that's 11 years old, I bet he takes it. We thought about giving a fake name or a destination, but you so thirsty, you not concerned with investigation. Instead you in that Venice studio. It's a celebration. You gotta learn to fact check things and be less impatient. Your fans are rejoicing, thinking this is my expiration, even the picture. You use the jokes and the medication, the Maybach glove and the drug he uses for less inflation. Master manipulator, you bid on the speculation. You dumb and reactive nigga. I'm petty with dedication. What about the bones we dug up in that excavation? And why isn't Whitney denying all of the allegations? Why is she following Dave free and not Mr Morale? You haven't seen the kids in six months. The distance is wild, dave leaving heart emojis underneath pics of the child Speaking of anything with a child. Let's get to that now.
Speaker 5:This Epstein angle was the shit I expected. Tiktok videos you collected and dissected. Instead of being on some disdirect shit, you'd rather fucking grab your pen and misdirect shit. My mom came over today and I was like mother, I mother, I mother, I Wait a second. That's that one record where you say you got molested. Oh, fuck me, I just made the whole connection. This about to get so depressing. This is trauma from your own confessions. I just made the whole connection anymore.
Speaker 5:This really got me second guessing. Touch my body by mariah carey play. You probably start reflecting. I never been with no one underage. But now I understand why that's the angle that you really mess with. Just for clarity. I feel disgusted. I'm too respected. If I was fucking young girls, I promise I'd have been arrested. I'm way too famous for the shit you just suggested. But that's not the lesson. Clearly there's a deeper message deep cuts that never healed and how they got infected, like if dave really fucked your girl and got her pregnant. Talk about freedom, resentment not sure how to ease the sentiment. This shit's too intimate. I'm praying you recover from both incidents, but you a piece of shit. So this shit really.
Speaker 5:No coincidence, drake is not a name that you gonna see on. No sex offender, let's easy, does it? You mentioned that a minor, but niggas gotta be sharp and tell the fans who was it. You thought you left D flat, d major. I'll slit your throat with a razor and do Rick Ross hair like that. One flight from Malaysia. I'm your baby mama screensaver Only fucking with Whitney's, not Millie Bobby Brown's. I never looked twice at no teenager. I'm a fucking hitmaker, dawg, not a peacemaker. Yeah, bullets that I'm stuffing in each chamber. Your ass in extreme danger. Stop buying views and buy comments. You may as well keep the paper Shit you about to need for later. I give a fuck about your streaming data. You could drop a hundred more records. I'll see you later. Yeah, maybe when you meet your maker. I don't want to fight with a woman beater. It feeds your nature. We'll be right back, nigga, I see you when I see you like Fantasia Whitney, you can hit me if you need a favor.
Speaker 4:And when I say I hit your back, it's a lot safer, I promise. Yeah, I'm not going to lie. This shit was some good exercise.
Speaker 5:It's good to get out and get the pen working. You wouldn't be a worthy competitor if I was really a predator and you weren't fucking lying to every blogger and editor. But it is what it is. You definitely got this shit burnt the fuck out, though. You got ten more records to drop, the one before the last one. We finessed you into telling a story that doesn't even exist and then you go and drop the West Coast one and try and cover that up. I would like that one. That would be some shit I could dance to if he wasn't tripling down on some whole other bullshit. But you know, at least your fans are getting some raps out of you. I'm happy I can motivate you, bring you back to the game, you know. But you know, when we get into the facts, everything in my shit is facts.
Speaker 1:I'm waiting on you to return the favor. What does he say? He said if I'm a liar, why aren't my parents Did you say that?
Speaker 2:No, no, but that's the context. He's like oh, that was a proof. Yeah, you know which to me, when someone, when that's the first thing that someone says, it's a red flag to me. Yeah, oh, like, prove it. It's like, okay, hold up, like why don't you just deny it?
Speaker 1:yeah well, because he, he, you know what, I guarantee you, he probably has a team they sat down. What could be the best response to not like us? That's a haymaker brother, that's done, you're done. He knew it and I feel like, I feel like hold on, he knew it, but I feel like he, he probably was like well, I, I don't want to straight up deny it, because that makes you look even more guilty. That's, that's how it goes usually when you're immediately told that's not true. What People are? Just kind of like think about it. No no.
Speaker 1:They are bro. They're like oh well, it is fucked, you're more guilty now.
Speaker 2:Either way You're fucked. You've already been accused.
Speaker 1:That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 2:No, no, no, You're fucked, no, deny it. You don't say oh wait, richard, proof, your proof means what do you have?
Speaker 1:no, they're not. If you're, if you haven't done it, deny it. Yeah, no, no, he didn't lie. Though how do you deny? Not in this song, but he denied it no, he, no, he.
Speaker 2:He denied it by saying this if I was above, oh, he did deny. That's what he said, that's okay yeah, but but that's a slick way of saying oh, you got proof because you know what people I saw this online.
Speaker 1:People make fun of him for this. Because it is true. It is funny. If I was, what did he say? He's like if I was guilty, best believe I'm too famous for this. No, you're not.
Speaker 2:Jeffrey Epstein was famous there's plenty of pedophiles that are fucking famous, bro. Roman Polanski, bro, the one who made Rosemary's Baby, bro, bro, he's still on the run. Oldest fuck, he's still on the run, bro.
Speaker 1:This is what we're dealing with. You know what I mean. Drake, you lost motherfucker, you lost bro. Take your L dog, okay, that's it. That's bro. It's just man like Take your L dog, okay, that's it. That's why, bro, you're done, see L's dropping on him.
Speaker 2:I think part of it, bro, is like you know how Drake was like attending those like battle raps and shit with fucking like Lush One and all them. Yeah, I think he Because, bro, those fools really know, bro, they really do personals Maybe he those bro, those fools do-. Bro, you think that shit was personal. Bro, they bringing in your kids everybody.
Speaker 1:They hit the heart.
Speaker 2:yeah, People that have died, like all kinds of shit. They really do the research on each other, you know. So it's like, if he's gonna, bro kendrick comes from that same element too, bro. You know what I'm saying. So, like, okay, bro, kendrick just had more, just had more. Yeah, he just had more ammo, bro, and even if it was fake ammo, bro, the the execution was just no, I damn near flawless. It wasn't flawless all overall because he had that fucking joel oisting line. You know what I'm saying, but, and because I know you're right, exactly, he didn't have that, bro.
Speaker 1:Let's be honest, the overall if he didn't?
Speaker 2:oh, that's true, though. If he said Joel, what's his name? Haley Joel Osment.
Speaker 1:If he said that one bro, and that's what he meant. We know what he meant. It would've been nasty, he messed it up a little bit, but it's okay. We all knew what he meant it would've been nast oh I wish, I wish someone would have caught it so they could. He could have re-recorded that part and then that way he would have got it right, because everybody's like joel's seeing the fucking pastor, but the.
Speaker 2:Thing no, no, no, no. But think about it, bro. Think about it, bro. Who in his camp really would watch six cents and really be like what's that actor's name?
Speaker 1:yeah, that's true, nobody but but exactly why we knew it still works. Not saying that no one's watching the bar still no, of course, but the bar still works because everybody knows it worked.
Speaker 2:But the thing is, bro, it's because austin's name is joe, his first name is joel hayley, joel osment, you know I'm saying, but like, who in this camp is really gonna know what his name is?
Speaker 1:he barely even know, the watch the name, bro, the watch the movie like yeah yeah joel austin yeah, that's it, that's right k dot you right dog that's the name right there.
Speaker 2:If someone just proofread that shit, bro because he barely even knew it.
Speaker 1:Hey, bro, the pastor dog, I'm googling this shit. I don't think you're right. He was not in six cents. Actually. He's not the thing. He actually owns a mega church. He's not the same guy, bro. No, no, I get it though. Us being you know a specific and trolling aside, I think the only the only thing that he might have said that was offensive, but at this point it still didn't matter was when he mentioned that personal attribute again he tripled down on the whole day free thing where he's like why is why is whitney following david free, but not mr morale? You know, it's not like she doesn'm saying Like she doesn't follow. It's true, she doesn't follow Kendrick on his social media, but she follows his business partner, his fucking.
Speaker 2:Okay. And then he's like oh, you haven't seen the kids in six months.
Speaker 1:The distance is wild, or what did you say? Or the fucking that's filler. But whoers bro? But who gives a fuck? That's true.
Speaker 2:Okay, he breaks up with his girl. Whatever, who cares bro?
Speaker 1:Or he said why is she not denying the allegations?
Speaker 2:And what if she is fucking free? Who gives a fuck? Honestly, Kendrick owns the label. Who gives a fuck, bro, Free is his bro. Who gives a fuck?
Speaker 1:Yeah, what would you do? I'm saying if, if I was married, keyword being if, if I was married and there was a special one.
Speaker 2:Obviously I wouldn't like this shit. I would have to.
Speaker 1:I would have to remove that person, bro manager especially, but obviously manager's like sorry dog, I slipped and fell on her pussy. That's something that I have to address with her, though of course you know what I'm saying and that's sad dog. How bad and tumultuous is. Be that I'm just playing devil's advocate here, trying to understand his angle, if it's bad like that bro, if she has to go for the manager, bro, she's stupid, exactly. No, I agree.
Speaker 2:Why would you fuck the manager over? The Dumb as fuck, just freaking, go out get a random that Find, a random that isn't. If there's truth to this.
Speaker 1:Yeah, he's retarded for even doing that. Keep the Duckworth name out of your mouth, man. Isn't that Kendrick's last name? Yeah, right, kendrick Lamar Duckworth. Huh, yeah, is Lamar his middle name man? Yeah, it is, huh.
Speaker 2:I believe. So You're on your own bro, I'm pretty sure it is no.
Speaker 1:I'm pretty sure it's Kendrick Lamar Duckworth, I'm almost.
Speaker 2:Yeah, it is.
Speaker 1:I'm listen now. He probably smacked you in the mouth a couple times.
Speaker 2:So it's kind of like I don't want no Kendrick's book. We are just commentating on this, we're just commentating.
Speaker 1:Kendrick, if you ever come across this shit, we love you, bro. You won. That's just the honest truth. We're not kissing no ass. We listen to the music, right? We're giving you guys an honest critique, an honest, timeless critique, right where we this is the timeless talks crew opinion on it and this is how we see it. This is what it is, bro. There's no denying it. I mean.
Speaker 2:Oh yeah, that's one for sure, oh for sure.
Speaker 1:So Kendrick won. That's as cool as I was saying. We appreciate y'all fucking with us. We gave you guys a breakdown. That's the beef. We dissected this shit. We listened to each track with y'all. You know I'm saying so. Thank you for fucking with us.
Speaker 1:We got a lot of good things coming for the rest of season five. Man, this is we're back. We got another show coming. I was gonna wait till the end of the episode to say but you want to think, you want anything you want to add to that? Real quick, before I get into our street interview show, I'm gonna get into and let them know about what we got coming up. Yeah, I'll briefly let you guys know, without going going into too much detail.
Speaker 1:We're gonna have another show that's going to be on the same channel as timeless talk. It's going to be essentially another another show that we're going to start doing. I won't reveal who the host is just yet. We're working some kinks out for hosts and co-hosts of that show. I will be there, of course I will also be. I will mostly be behind the camera on this show, but we're basically essentially going to be on the street interviewing people outside of clubs, outside of like hot spots in hollywood, maybe hot spots in the local area here where we live, from the town we're from and the show has a working title right now, street hustle.
Speaker 1:Uh, what we're going to do, we're actually going to do a poll on their social media, on instagram, and get everybody's opinion. We're going to have two names up there, but basically, what we're going to do, guys, we have two ideas for a name for the show. Uh, I picked one furious pick the other one, and then we're going to post it up on our Instagram. We're going to have you guys vote and whichever, whichever name gets the most votes is that's going to be the name of the show, cause we were just we're we don't really know what for sure works as far as a good name for this.
Speaker 1:You know this, this, this new show we're going to start, but it's going to be fun. Got our funds together, we got them right. We're gonna make it happen for you guys at some point during this season, for sure in this season anyway. Guys, there's more coming this year. Well, aside from that show, we'll get into detail about what. What else is coming for timeless talk. Uh, there's been changes around our show, around this show, and then obviously changes around the new show. We'll get into that stuff later, but as far as that goes, I'm gonna pass the mic one more time over to furious here. Then I'm going to say one last final tidbit and then we'll see you guys next week, what's?
Speaker 9:up alright, well, hey make your money, man, go out there, man live life.
Speaker 2:You know what man stop playing like you don't know, man. Hey, communicate. You know what I'm saying? This is going to come off ambiguously. Communicate when you're making a move, if you're connected, saying this is going to come off uh, what's that word? Uh, ambiguously. Okay, here we go. Communicate yes it's important when you're making a move. Okay if you, if you're connected, yeah, individuals please communicate what you're doing.
Speaker 2:Okay, you know I'm saying it's just, it's just courteous. Okay, let people know what's going on, just like how he let me know about the, about the merch, right now. Just let us know what's going on, so we're aware, you know what I'm saying, so we know how to move accordingly. Yeah exactly, Communication is key. It is God bless everyone in their endeavors. But please, like when you're dealing with people in you know, movements, if you are involved in any way, you know, just communicate with your people. That's it. You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1:I agree, it's all love. You know what I'm saying. I agree, it's all love. You know what I mean? No, I respect it and I full-heartedly back that. 100%, brother, that's true. That's true, man. You know, I actually want to go ahead and coin in on that. I also want to kind of piggyback off of what he was saying. Communication is key, man. I mean whoever can relate to the situation we're talking about as far as communication, whoever can relate to that, whoever can understand where we're coming from. That applies to a lot of things, like you said, especially when you're involved in an organization with people. Whatever the case, be in communication with those people, man, it's good to touch base and be on the same page and have closure and just have whatever it needs to transcend and transpire into. You need to at least do your part and contact those people, because it's the right thing to do. That goes for everybody and everything. So you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2:To go off what you're saying, it applies to a lot of things.
Speaker 1:You know what I'm saying Absolutely Not just that particular thing, but everything.
Speaker 2:Anything with the group of people where you're doing something together. Things should be transparent. You know what I mean. Absolutely, it should be. It's not always like that. We work for it to be like that, but it should. You know people, we should try to be more like that, just because it just leaves it just leaves it, pushes, it, leaves less room for bullshit. I agree, you know what I mean Exactly. I'm saying that correctly.
Speaker 1:No, you are, you're saying it perfectly correctly. It leaves way less room for that. You know, communication is so key because it leaves no room for speculation, no further bullshit. You just get your point across, you get to the point and there's no guessing game happening. You're just being direct. I can't stand subliminals, I can't stand silence when it comes to things that need to end and definitive answer. Direct is always the way, guys. With that being said, be direct in all your moves, everything you say, all your communications. Don't forget it. You'll live a better life. People will respect you more. Trust me it's been timeless talk.
Speaker 6:We'll see y'all next week homie still double down calling us some slaves atlanta. What's the mecca building railroads and trains? Bear with me for a second. Let me put y'all on game. The settlers was using town folk to make Outro Music.
